Overview

An adventure game akin to Heavy Rain's style of gameplay, Until Dawn is attempting to set itself apart with its ''Butterfly Effect'' technology, where every decision both big and small will reflect unto the player's playthrough. This can vary from choosing to examine an object to potentially allowing (or failing to stop) one of the main eight characters to die.

Development

Until Dawn was originally announced in 2012 to be a PS3-exclusive game that centered around the use of the PlayStation Move controller. However the game went silent from then until 2014, specifically Gamescom 2014, where it was once again unveiled but now exclusive to the PlayStation 4 instead without the focus so squarely set on the Move peripheral.
