Oh yay, I'm guessing me trying to post something sensible (well, I TRIED) was pretty stupid seeing how this will soon be flooded by Patrick haters, actual sexists and people who don't understand this article. Awesome.
As a long time subscriber who recently decided to get more active in the site and community, all I'm getting from the comments is how everyone hates Patrick (even though he writes great content for the site) and how anything other than a humorous quicklook starring VInny is trash to be derided.
Its disgusting and juvenile and I think'll go back to the other communities I'm a part of and stick to just watching quicklooks and listening to the bombcast. Its not even just a normal internet level of privileged white males hating any other point of view, it's caustic as fuck through and through and makes me wish Patrick's articles were written for a site that actually might appreciate them.

Over at the shacknews chatty we've been seeing waits of 100 days or more. I hit 74 days untill i finally filed a BBB report and got a personal call.
The rep mentioned that the system is setup so that if a rep gets a case they dont WANT to handle, they can send it to someone else in a different department, and they can just send it round and round and round forever.
