I paid $20 or $30 to rent Invisible Man at the start of the lockdown. My wife and I used to go to the movies a lot and a trip would easily cost over $30 just in tickets.

The Mulan situation is kind of fucked up though. I am already paying for the service. It should be $30 if you don’t subscribe, and a reduced price if you do.

@shaanyboi: They don’t need to worry about ranked. Last time I played you needed to be level 25 to play ranked. By the time you hit 25 you should know most of the heroes and what is expected of ranked play.

As for if it’s cool to jump in now; totally! Overwatch is a pretty chill game and I think it’s maintained it’s accessible nature. There are people in the community who take the game too seriously and can be dicks, but that’s most games.

@bb4lake: You really should play the game, because it clarifies your point. Basically, it doesn’t matter if there was uncertainty or not with the cure. To Ellie, she had the potential to save the world and Joel took away her choice on the matter. That’s the only aspect where the certainty of the cure matters to any characters.

This is more early 2000’s, but I miss community run multiplayer shooters. I grew up playing Novalogic games (Delta Force, Black Hawk Down), Counter Strike, and Battlefield. Community run servers were great because they each had their own rules, style, and regulars. It was fun to try out different servers to find a group you liked and to regularly visit them.

There are still some games that have custom/community servers, but it has largely disappeared for the convenience of matchmaking and ranked play.

Yeah I've had two choking incidents and it's terrifying. You quickly go from "hm, this food isn't swallowing" to terror very quickly. Luckily, I was able to dislodge it on my own both times, but it still left me pretty shaken. Glad Abby is ok, that shit sucks!

I shared a cab with Jack Trenton about 12 years ago. After I recognized him, I said I was a big fan of his stage work during Sony's press conferences. He offered a hand shake that went on about 15 seconds too long. The entire time he shook my hand he maintained eye contact and had a very wide smile. The rest of the ride he was pretty quiet.

As we got to his destination he asked if I wanted to see something. He slowly leaned towards me, pulled his hand out of his jacket pocket and pulled out what looked like a .38 snub nose revolver. He quickly put it back in his pocket, started laughing, and got out of the car. He quickly gave the cab driver what looked like two one-hundred dollar bills, and walked into a bar that we stopped outside of.

Chose the first option, but it was not my driving force for purchasing the game.

I just used the “hold” instead of mash option. I am just done with mashing buttons like that.

I am tempted to mess with the difficulty settings. I have it set to normal right now, but I might bump up some of the difficulty while keeping the resources the same.

It’s reasonable. Not only is it effort for them to maintain, it is a problem for players. Last time I played last year, the game took up over 150GBs of space on my drive. If they keep everything indefinitely, this is going to continue to balloon and become unsustainable.
