I really enjoyed RE4, so this is my excuse to pick up my next system.  I'm just not sure yet if I want a 360 first or a PS3, but I've still three months to decide.

I've always had my (launch) PS2 vertical and never had a problem with it except for the fact that it doesn't like my ~Tekken Tag Tournament~ disc (it still plays other CD games fine.)
I guess this is just another thing I'll have to be wary of when I get around to buying a 360.

the main reason Blue Ray drives are more expensive is because it's a new technology.

It seems Sony's strategy so far has been arrogance:  "We're Sony, buy our product."

I found out about this late last night, and am choosing to wait for better stability.
