TakeOvers are usually very good, though I'm not a huge Lars fan and I'd like to see the NA title get defended over the tag belts. But Richochet/Dream should be great, and the last Ciampa/Gargano match was an absolute killer.
Honestly a little sad that my favorite studios known for sweeping single-player adventures are now riding the me-too multiplayer money train. Howard threw us campaign gamer misanthropes a bone with Starfield and ESVI: Insert Region Here, but those bones are so far away :(
If this is some 'me too' Battle Royale nonsense, count me right the hell out. I'd be happy with another single player game set solely in a humongous vault.
The way Austin described how quests are doled out more organically has me excited, as I got over the icon-chasing in Far Cry 3 very quickly. But if they fink out on the story side of things - especially considering what the game looked like at launch - i'll be disappointed.
I liked the trailer and am excited for the movie - the Russo Bros were the best choice to tie this craziness together, and did a very good job with Civil War's 'too many cooks' despite tiring me out by the third act. But Thanos looks like Bruce Willis on Bane serum.
The Rousey segment having no clarity made it awkward. That and Cole screaming and not giving the moment time to breathe. But I get putting Rousey on to end the show - VKM wants mainstream acceptance and an attraction for Mania. Rousey gives him both. I don't agree that her appearance overshadows the women's Rumble, if anything it has a chance to elevate the women's division, though I don't want to see her get vaulted into title contention immediately.
Wrestling Observer is reporting (fwiw) Steph and Trips v. Rock and Rousey at Mania, which doesn't seem likely considering Rock's schedule and a potential injury interfering with his movie career. But I'd much rather see a gimmick match like that rather than a title shot for Rousey. Give me a Sasha heel turn and have her face Asuka at Mania for the strap.
Gamecube seemed like a blip in the overall Nintendo console cycle, but think of the games on there: Resi4, Metroid Prime, Wind Waker, Pikmin 1 &2, Eternal Darkness, all top titles (even if I'm not huge WW fan, but still).
I quit listening to Eminem after Encore. Personally I think he peaked at The Marshal Mathers LP, rampant homophobia notwithstanding.
I'm right with you. I listened to one of his later albums -Recovery, maybe - and he makes Michael J. Fox Parkinson's references like three times. His early albums are still great, but I'm over the dude and his juvenile shit.
