@Surkov said:I've been going to a junior college the past 3 years, and I haven't started my fall semester yet at my four-year school. I recognize most of the stuff in those equations(mixed derivatives, series, various trig functions defined at pi over 4 on the Unit Circle, phase shifts), but I guess I haven't seen those types of problems before/yet(I'm itching to finally go to a four-year school). I only recently decided to go for a minor in math because they expect you to have a minor at this university, and with the amount of math I'm taking, I might has well go for a minor in Math. The first 2 years of college are boring from a educational sense; it's all general ed. If you still don't like it when you're starting your major, then you might have a problem. You will probably cover it in Linear algebra. I'm doing civil engineering but am doing electrical engineering math so I am a bit ahead of most of my group. I'm surprised that you haven't covered it yet with a math minor.
@troll93: what math is that? I've taken up through Calc 3, and I'm taking Linear Algebra and Discrete Math this semester. Is that differential equations or what is it? I must know! P.S. I'm a Computer Science and Engineering major with a minor in Math
Math is power!
