Friday was our last day of school for the quarter and it was a half day so me and my friend went to gamestop and i picked up Resident Evil 5. Here are my impressions.
The game is very, very fun and addicting because it pains me to stop playing it. It has tons of action and the visuals are amazing, though there are some things that aren't amazing. For one thing the game seems too short. I am on chapter 4-1 and my game time is about 5 hours, and I am playing on normal. Also ammo can be scarce sometimes, espically when you really need ammo. Also the game isn't scary at all. Yes i know i am only halfway into the game and it could get scary but I highly doubt it. With Sheva at your side nothing seems to be scary. So this game is great so far, it may not be better than Resident Evil 4, but its just as good.

In other news, My bad file on Fallout 3 is going good, I have found just about every single location. One thing that pisses me off is that Bethesda won't release the DLC for Fallout 3 on the PS3. I almost want to trade in my PS3 version of fallout 3 to get the PC version so I can get the DLC (and mods of course).
Other than that there is nothing much going on. I am trying to decide what to get, a PS2 or Left 4 Dead. I would love to hear your opinion on this. Also I will be gettiing Resident Evil 5 this weekend, and next week is my spring break.
Hey everyone! Track has been killer so I have been to tired to blog lately. so lets talk about whats new
First off Killzone 2. I still have to play the demo but from what I have heard and seen the game looks great. It also looks very challenging but rewarding. It also seems to have great replay ability due to its awesome looking multiplayer. I will have to rent this game because of what I am getting next week.
Next Resident Evil 5. This game looks amazing. though i was a little turned off at first by the demo, the more I played the demo the more i liked it. Though I still don't like that you can't pause to get to your inventory, that angers me but everything else rocks. I can't wait to get this game next week.
I have something to ask all of you. See my PS3 can not play ps2 games which really sucks so I was thinking I would buy a PS2 since they are cheap now, do you guys think this is a good idea? I want to buy it because alot of great games are on that system.

P.S. I beat F.E.A.R 2 in one day, actually more like 4 hours on the normal difficulty. The ending was...interesting. not bad, just...odd. Nonetheless it was a pretty good game and I can't wait for the sequel
Hey everyone! it's been a real slow 2 weeks so that kinda why I haven't done a blog but I have tried to comment on all of your blogs, and if I haven't I apoligize. I joined the track team so I have been doing that after school and that's why I have been very tired these past 2 weeks. anyway on to the games!
...ok bad news, I havent played anything in awhile. I played about an hour of saints row 2 on wednesday because I had a half day that day and I beat The Ronin finally so it's time for the Ultor missions!
i also rented F.E.A.R 2 on wednesday but I haven't had alot of time to play and I really don't want to play it at night. I do hope though that the scares in the game are good but not repetitive, because in the demo I got to play in HD with surround sound in the dark by myself and it wasn't too bad but i have a feeling it will get scarier.
In just 1 day I tried 2 demos, which were the F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin demo and the Resident Evil 5 demo. here are my thoughts on them.
First off Resident Evil 5. This game is higly anticipated due to the fact that Resident Evil 4 was one of the best games ever. So the question is...is Resident Evil 5 going to be as good? worse? or better than Resident Evil 4? well I have to say that when i first saw the game i was so hyped then one thing brought me down, and that was the inventory system. Instead of having to pause to go to your inventory all you have to do is push a button and the inventory pops up in-game. cool right? wrong. This inventory system is disliked by me because...well let's say that your surrounded by enemies and you need health or need to switch weapons, well sure it doesn't take as long or doesnt disturb the gameplay but you can get hurt while your in your inventory, which makes me angry. I 100% think that there should have been 2 options for the inventory system, one for an in game inventory and one for a pause menu inventory. However the rest of the demo was amazing and i will definetly pick this up, and the inventory system will just have to be something to get used to.
Now for F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin. I played the demo and immeditialy i felt lke this game would be a rent, not a buy. this is because of the fact that it actually scared me, just a little at the part when you walk down that hallway with the lockers and stuff. The rest of the demo was just ok, and i could tell there was room for improvement. Nonetheless it was fun (well not that hallway section because i was too scared to have fun) so I think i will rent the game

So in current news, In Saints Row 2 I have beaten the Brotherhood and the Sons of Samedi and I haven't started the Ronin yet but planning on accomplishing that soon. The game is very fun! The activities are great and even just running around blowing shit up is awesome and satisfying as well. Hey Everyone! sorry for my absense I have just had to deal with some things that caused me to not get on GiantBomb, so sorry if I haven't been commenting on your blogs.
Anyway I saw the premiere of Lost season 5 and I LOVED IT! it was great with several jaw dropping moments. actually the first scene was so shocking my jaw dropped and it stayed that way for about 10 minutes. anyway If you have never seen Lost you owe it to yourself to start watching season 1 its great.
I have also been playing alot of a great game I like to call Saints Row 2. This game is AMAZING! I haven't this much fun in a game in a long time. Though Grand Theft Auto IV was an amzing game Saints Row 2 is jusst as good or maybe better. Currently I just defeated The Brotherhood and I am working on defeating the Sons of Samedi.
Also I picked up Lord of the Rings Conquest. Yes this game has had some bad reviews but it's not entirely that bad. If you have never played star wars battlefront then describing this game would be hard since they are the same thing just with a different setting, and Battlefront is 100 times better. I dont want to say too much since I haven't played much but right now the game is ok and if you loved star wars battlefront you might like this game.
Hey everyone! If you haven't already figured it out, this blog is about Resistance 2 and Saints Row 2
In Resistance 2 I'm currently at the chicago level, though I haven't started it yet (actually I'm starting up the level right now) so hopefully this level won't be too hard. I am really enjoying the game, and the many changes made to the game help make it better. I haven't gotten too much time to try out the multiplayer but I'm sure to try it out really soon. I think I want to beat the game first before I try going online. Anyway Resistance 2 so far is great and I'll post more later.
In Saints Row 2 I am not very far at all, instead of doing missions I have been running around the city causing trouble and doing some activities. At first I was afraid I wouldn't like this game since the opening level wasn't the greatest but the game rocks. I'll have to post more when I have played more but so far this game is great.
Today is New Years Eve and it marks the end of a great year, 2008.
Before I go into detail of 2008, I just wanted to say that I picked up Saints Row 2 recently and it's actually really fun and quite addiciting. I'll post more about it later.
Anyway, 2008 was great year for games, though personally I thought it could have been a better year but at least it was a great year for games. Also The Dark Knight came out this year and it was one of the year's best films, and the reason I mention this movie is because it was one of 3 movies I saw in the theatre this year, this movie and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Saw V. Though Saw V and the new Indiana Jones movie were good, The Dark Knight takes the cake. As for games, we were granted Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and plenty more great games. Sadly we were also granted some bad games such as Mercanaries 2: World in Flames and Haze. We also recieved the terrible, terrible, new of the new MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, I can't believe Bioware would sink that low. But overall the year was good and some other good things happend to me such as recieving the news that my cousin (who sorta acts like my older sister) got engaged 2 days before christmas, so now I guess me and my family here in AZ got to mark down on the calendar "Wedding in CO".
Anyway, enjoy your New Years and I will be at a party so I won't be able to blog till sometime tomorrow.
