The fact that I'm so devastated by the death of someone I've never met speaks volumes about Ryan's incredible character. I know we're all feeling this deep in our guts right now.

Giant Bomb has been such a large facet of my life (sometimes larger than I'd like to admit) and it's all thanks to the integrity Ryan and the guys brought to the table.

I feel like someone pulled my chair out from underneath me.

Utter shock.

My thoughts are with Anna and the Giant Bomb crew.

I feel physically ill. I've been laughing along with Ryan for over a decade.
He was a special kind of person.

Ah, I remember when the Gerstmann/K&L episode was unfolding. It seems like yesterday.

I scored a winning double kill on invasion with either a stun or flash grenade. I can't remember which it was, but I didn't actually hit anyone with the grenade itself. On the killcam, the grenade landed about a foot away from two injured enemies. Is it possible for the blast of a nonlethal grenade to kill? What about setting off claymores with nonlethal grenades? Maybe that's what happened.
Anyway, long story short, one nonlethal grenade, two kills, one big smile.

For me, it must be getting a game winning kill by dropping a care package on an enemy. It was, indeed, most epic.

I wish Molyneux was my uncle. It would be cool to have him over for Thanksgiving...

There was a place in New Orleans called Tucker's that served the best deep fried burgers on the planet. I nearly had a heart attack trying to eat that thing, but it was friggin' amazing.
