Awesome, I was just looking for a Mario Maker thread on GB! First level is all set. Pretty easy though (sucks the additional tools aren't out yet), but if anyone wants a shot at a quick level, mine is "Mario Avalanche", code 5862-0000-0017-F22D.

Also, Jeff's stage was neat! Looking forward to see what else he makes.

RIP Robin Williams. You always made me laugh and put a smile on my face. Possibly my favorite moment in life.

Do I now have to explain to my parents how VR works and even though gran pappy is dead, we can still "see him and talk to him". Facebook: Staying connected to those that have passed.

Superb write-up Alex, per usual. I view the whole debacle over violent video games = real life violence to be a bit of a naive statement myself, and I think when it comes down to it, the culture of today's multimedia needs to be examined as a whole upon individuals that allow different types of media to alter their mood and attitudes. I have a full-flung opinion I could harp on about, but if I were to summarize, I would say that when people do their jobs (parents taking attention to what their child's watch, play, and listen to, and store clerks ID'ing customers for Mature purchases), and someone is there to listen and be understanding and take the proper steps towards help when it is needed, then maybe something could be stopped before it even remotely starts.

Yes, but I'm very considerate about it. I only smoke amongst other smokers (like with co-workers or friends) or where I won't really effect many other people. I roll my own smokes, and have actually been doing well in cutting down.

What a stupid ass habit :p

I just finished beating the game, and I had a blast with it. The character interaction was way better than I was expecting, the combat was fast and fluid, the environments were visually impressive, and I'm content to replay the game again and again. The only downsides I have are sometimes the lock on would screw me over, but that didn't happen too often, and I found this glitch where I was comboing an enemy into the air really high, and I somehow got stuck in the air. I got down eventually, but it was weird. I tried to emulate it on purpose, and it happened again XD.

I had a blast with it, and I hope those who are tossing this game to the wayside at least give it a chance, because they might have more fun with it than they think.

I've always wondered how people get selected for these types of studies. Also, I wonder how they test. Maybe they shouldn't look into violent video games, just frustrating shit games. Here's the study: Big Rigs - 5 hours.

First game I had owned when I got my PS2 was FF-X. That awkward laugh scene still makes me laugh.

So, you hear someone was killed by a subway train in New York today, and everyone was to busy taking pictures to help the guy get out of the way? http://blog.sfgate.com/hottopics/2012/12/04/subway-horror-why-didnt-photog-lend-a-hand/.

Sorry, where were we? Offended by a marketing app. Oh right, sorry.

I myself do not use the term, but I don't have a problem with it.
