Everyone deals with stuff like this is different ways, man. Never feel like what you're feeling is wrong or "not enough." It is what it is. The most important thing is to not fight it and rather embrace it. Personally, I've been a really bummed out the past day and a half but forgetting about it for periods of time in the wake of all the things happening in my life. It wasn't until tonight, listening to the Bombcast, that I totally broke down. It's just the way it works and you gotta let it happen.
HD is, technically speaking, a meaningless term. The terms "true" or "full" HD fully serve to confuse the whole conversation. As if someone has said "yes, okay , no we're done. We now have ALL the pixels." When is comes down to it 1080p is almost there as far as being the standard. So if 720 is inferior to the standard how can it still be described as HIGH DEFINITION. Basically what I'm saying is HD is just a brand or a buzz word.
Regardless of what the end score actually was, I think the actual review (ahem, the important part) was handled about as well as it could of for a game that has been "out" for years.
