Some people say that you shouldn't play video games over break. I, for one, think that it is not only reasonable, but almost the point of vacation. To play video games over break is to relax. Video games take away stress (unless you're playing the original Ninja Turtles Game) during normal times of work and school, or whatever else you're doing. Vacations also take away stress, and when you combine the two, say playing Pokemon on a beach after playing volleyball and swimming, who the hell is to judge me? I'm doubly relaxed, and you're looking skeptically at the dude on the beach with a DS. I'm the one who is right here. Is it really wrong to play video games whilst on vacation? I for one, don't think so.

It's up to the developer to make it tasteful and appealing. Yeah, it's a shit ton more awesome to rip the head off of a harpy in God of War and it's much more awesome to have blood explode out of a zombie and spatter onto the screen in Left 4 Dead 2. So... yes, blood and gore are attractors when it comes to games. It's just up to the developer to make the gore visceral, awesome, and tasteful at the same time.

The thing that I would do; don't be super annoying and everything. That just shows how immature you are. I've done this before, and it worked very well for me. Only the very strong can do this. Just cut them out. If your dog was so important to you, show your parents that she IS more important than them. Just cut them out. Don't provoke conversation. Don't be disobedient. Just show no love. Muahahahaha.

I know that right now people don't care about the graphics "issues" (not really an issue), but I think in a few years, PCs will be doing some sick stuff that  consoles won't be doing, maybe it will be graphics, maybe it won't be, and people will want them on consoles. Whether it be physics, graphics, whatever. 
 I'm on your side, though. I really don't care what the graphics are like, and I really don't give a damn about physics and cool features, but most people do care about cool features (I would gander that a TON of people just have a Wii because of the motion stuff, and it's price), and in a few years, people will want something new. Again, I think it would be great if the Xbox whatever-its-name-is just made a slim version with Natal cameras built in for a reasonable price. PS3 can do whatever it wants. I still think that graphics will increase drastically in like 3 years, and a new console will be made to match it. Again, though, all I really want is a good game; I'll even play it on the DS.
