@SlasherMan: I have considered building it myself, which would save a few hundred bucks, but in the end I am not much of a PC builder, I have never built a PC from scratch and I am perfectly content with just picking everything I want and having it delivered already assembled.

I am contemplating getting back into PC gaming after nearly 4 years of absence from that scene. Due to my prolonged absence, my knowledge of what a good gaming rig for today's market is is almost non-existence. My goal is to have a PC that can run all the current games and the upcoming ones, in particular Battlefield 3, at there highest settings, and that will last a few years before I need an upgrade. I will also be using it for general use, in particular editing video and audio in high definition. I figured if I build a great gaming PC it will also function pretty well as an all around PC.

My current working budget for a full desktop and monitor is between $2000 and $3000.

At the moment I am building a PC online and below are it's basic specs, they seem very solid but I am unsure, and at just over $2500 for the desktop and monitor, it's in the butter zone.

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-970 3.20 GHz 12M Intel Smart Cache LGA1366

Cooling Fan: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan (Enhanced Cooling Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA) (Single Standard 120MM Fan)

Motherboard: (2-Way SLI Support) Asus Sabertooth X58 Intel X58 Chipset SLI/CrossFireX Mainboard Triple-Channel DDR3 FCLGA1366 ATX Mainboard w/ 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, SATA-III, SATA-II RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 1 PCIe X1 & 1 PCI

Memory: 12GB (2GBx6) DDR3/1600MHz Triple Channel Memory Module

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 Dual GPU SLI 3GB 16X PCIe Video Card

Multiple Video Card Settings: Xtreme Performance in SLI/CrossFireX Gaming Mode Supports Single Monitor

Power Supply Upgrade: 950 Watts - CyberPowerPC Gaming 80 Plus Power Supply

Hard Drive: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Hard Drive)

Sound: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO

Here is the link to the PC for all the details;

Let me know if there is anything I should change or add.
Thanks a bunch.

Confirmed again by Robert Bowling (FourZeroTwo) via Twitter:

 " http://bit.ly/3KGy8k - Yes there's a leaked video. Yes it confirms a new Playlist type in #MW2 & yes it's why I recommend a media blackout. "

I asked my friend this question today and he couldn't decide. Neither can I. I am curious to see which amazing sci-fi film, Star Trek or District 9, is better.

District 9 was an ingenious, smart, unique , and creative masterpiece while Star Trek was an entertaining, top class, amazing, blockbuster reboot.

Tell me what you think...
