You can probably count me out on this week too. I'll still look at the charts and all, but otherwise I'm not a huge fan of The Fratellis. One of my friends is though, except he hates Rock Band.

I think it's just personal opinion that people take and blow out of proportion. I personally like the GH:WT guitar better, but I don't have a problem with the RB2 strat. Also, the RB1 strat did kind of suck, the strum bar just died way to fast and it wasn't that comfortable, it just felt too mushy.

Also, I agree, please format this better, I only read about half of what you wrote before I gave up.

I doubt they would release another Megadeth album right now, I honestly think that to counter GH: Metallica they'll either release a Metallica Pack 02 or something with crazy guitar...*cough Texas Flood cough* (Though please don't make me wait that long for Texas Flood)

Depending on the quality of the Thin Lizzy Live tracks, I might get the pack, and maybe Hit Me With Your Best Shot just to force my friends to sing it, otherwise it's somewhat of a weak week. Really hoping for an album...

Disappointed it isn't an album, and even more disappointed with the lack of Touch of Grey, still, I'll pick it up since The Dead Pack 01 was a blast.

After listening to a bit of all of them, I'll probably get the Rob Zombie and Mute Math tracks too. Both sound pretty fun (Especially the solo for the Rob Zombie song)

DAMMIT! I was just about to post this...

Anyway, I'll get the Steve Miller Band pack and maybe the Godsmack track, the rest I'll listen to first.

"If you're a huge fan of rhythm games, you'll enjoy Rock Band 2. Harmonix has a lot more experience in the genre than Guitar Hero's developers, so I don't think RB 2 will disappoint. The gameplay is solid, but what really makes it amazing is the huge variety of songs at your disposal. There is no way you can look through their catalogue of downloadable content and not buy anything. Throw in a few friends or family members and you've got yourself one hell of a party.

However, if you've come to know and love the clicky stiffness of all of the past Guitar Hero guitars, then I don't suggest you buy the Rock Band guitar unless you try it out beforehand. The buttons and strum bar between RB and GH guitars are very different. I do, however, highly recommend the RB 2 drums, and, if you have the money, the optional cymbal addons. I have no clue if there's a difference in performance between the GH and RB mics, though."
I think Hobbies summed it up extremely well. Harmonix did a much better job on Rock Band 2 then Neversoft did on Guitar Hero: World Tour. The Downloadable content available for Rock Band is just mind-blowing, and you should take full advantage, since there is so much variety to the songs available. If you have the Guitar Hero peripherals, then I think you are probably all set, though I think you should go out and get the RB2 drums, they work great and really have a nice feel to them. The guitar you should check out first before buying, since you may end up not liking the feel of the Rock Band 2 Strat (I myself prefer the GH guitars, but I have no problem using the strat).
