How much of a game should you play before review?

I am currently playing through Burnout Paradise with every intention to review it. With every other game I play through to competion of the main story and then have a dip into multiplayer and other modes. However with a game like Burnout the game never really has a diffinitive ending also with repetition of races you get a very quick idea of what the game is like but is that enough to review the game. Does anybody have similar issues when it comes to less linear games even RPG's?

Charlie Brookers Gameswipe

I have just heard through the grape vine that Charlie Brooker writer of Screenwipe, Newswipe and recently UK zombie drama Dead Set will be turning his unique satire to games. Brooker has already done a bit of games journalism and is often seen at the BAFTA game awards. Anyone else looking forward to this when it eventually gets aired I cant wait.

I have actually been busy!

This means I havnt had much chance to be playing games although I am really getting into Burnout Paradise lately and I am really seeing the appeal now it all seems good. Hopefully I will be in a position to write a review by the end of the week so any suggestions as to what I should play next.
Battlefield Bad Company
Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts
Call of Duty World at War
No More Heroes
and any other suggestions are welcome.

Day 3...4 I lost count in Kijuju

Yet again I have been playing more Resident Evil 5 and I am extremely invested in it now. I am getting rather into upgrading my weapons and the story seems very interesting although to be honest I dont get some of it having not been into Resident Evil since the beggining if anyone wants to give me a brief overview that would be helpful but then again I might just go to the wiki page.

Day 2 in Kijuju

Played a lot more Resident Evil 5 today judging by the chapters I am about half way through it. I am really getting invested in the story and the gameplay now. I deffinately had my reservations after playing the demo but they were all blown out the window by the actual game. I am wondering how many other people had this feeling and how many people still couldnt get past the lack of change in Resident Evil 5. Post in the comments below I really would like to know.

Resident Evil 5 Impressions

I finally picked up Resident Evil 5 and Burnout Paradise at quite a bargain price and started Resident Evil. The first thing that struck me is how good this game looks it really gave me hope for my 360s longevity because it is clear a lot of developers havnt reached this level yet. At first I also got extremely frustrated as Sheva died twice on me and I began to think the whole game would be an escort mission. However, this was the only occasion when she has failed me. I seem to be getting through it pretty quickly but hopefully the game will have a good length and I can already see the replayability. Overall I am extremely impressed with Resi 5 so far it really reminded me what I loved so much about Resident Evil 4. Once you settle in you also completely forget the fact that you cant move and shoot and the gameplay is also solid although the new inventory system is a little clunky. I also love the loading screens which fill you in on the history of Resident Evil which is good for newcomers to the series like myself. Expect to here more about my progress soon finishing with a review.

Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen (SPOILERS)

I have just been to see transformers 2 on launch day after being a massive fan of the first film. All I can say is I am very satisfied. I wasnt expecting the film to be as good as the first film and its not but it does everything I would like. The story is taking a very star wars turn with megatron actually being called apprentice at one point but the use of absolutely massive transformers and huge scale battles. An extremely literal point where optimus prime gets considerably more awesome and I sat there in my seat and said YES PLEASE more of that. I know I'm a bit of a fan boy on this subject but what did everybody else think and please dont turn this into a megan fox talking point we all know how hot she is.
