Finally nicked my sisters hi fi system today without her realising and hooked it up to my tv. I finally have some good sound now my tv is good but i think it was made for surround sound really so its quiet on its own. Played Forza earlier and it was ace sounded really good a nice cheap alternative to buying a big surround sound system.

I have a lot of time on my hands this summer and will be playing through a lot games starting next week with Resident Evil 5. I will be posting first impressions of the games as well as reviews after completion. I dont have a lot of people playing attention to my blog so if you read this and like my idea please let other users know. Heres a list of some games I have in mind and I will also take suggestions.

I have just had my last A level exam and so i have a hell of a lot of time to play games and go on GiantBomb I am still trying to get people to pay attention to my blog for my big summer games thing as you will see in my next post.

I currently have a small gap in my busy exam schedule to let you know about my big yet slightly sad summer plans. Essentially I have a lot of free time and plan on using it to play a lot of the games I havnt had time to play yet. I will be posting initial impressions and reviews of all the games with the idea to be doing a different game each week. Heres a list of a few of the games I plan to play.

Hopefully I will be able to get some more people reading my blog this way and give you guys an extra opinion on these games. It will all start about the end of June and I plan on trying to get the word out there to users and if anyone reads this I would appreciate the help.

I know i recently posted saying i wouldnt be blogging but I just sent an email to the bombcast saying I never got on that well with bioshocks gameplay. That and stuff about bioshock 2 tempted me to play it and in a rather long sitting i completed the rest of the game so I will now write a review.

A lot has gone on lately including that awesome Mass Effect 2 trailer and Modern Warfare 2.  Unfortunately I have a lot else going on at the moment so my blog wont really pick up till E3 time hopefully too much wont happen in that gap. Please come back.

I have been playing through a lot of the demos lately a key one being resident evil 5. Which as soon as my current cash crisis is over i think im gonna buy cos its growing on me. Wheelman is fun but im afraid it looks like it really is the end of midway unfortunately, poor visual design and and twitch controls seem to hold it back. Chronicles of Riddick another game i am slowly starting to get interested in finally an FPS where you can go stealth well except the original.

I have just spent the last few hours playing Halo 3 and remembered how good that game was getting me pumped for more information on ODST at E3 and so here is a list of things i want to see at E3 this year.

I have got to a point now where I have played all my games through really so its time to go back and tinker with those after completion joys. I have never really been enticed by Fallout 3 side quests so for me i am gonna play some good old Halo 3 multiplayer and some Fable achievements so are there any games you guys have played that you enjoyed going back to or do you even have a faithful game like my halo that you will always go back to.

I have just spent most of my evening playing through Braid which is a brilliant game both gameplay wise and visually. It is also one of the games that brings up the games as art argument. The problem I have is I am not an art fan and why should a game be art or aspire to be. Games are made as a form of entertainment but are essentially games I would much rather my game is built to be great to play rather than something arty.
So what is it for you do you appreciate art in a game while still wanting it to be gaming focused. Or do you want a game you can asses and break down to find out all the hidden meanings the developer has hidden?
