With Google and Facebook, the idea of being private on the internet or having two different personas online and off are quickly coming to an end. I miss those days :(
Rather than argument on semantics as to whether he's right or not, I'll chime in just to say that there's a definate decline in what RPGs from Japan used to be, or at least how much of an impact with critics and gamers they had.
Our family was a Prodigy family, so luckly no spam for us. Somehow we avoided all that, though I think our family had to pay just a bit more a month. I remember being jealous of my friends who had AOL because they were all able to use AOL keywords and I wasn't. This, of course, was back in the early 90's before most game companies had a website, and there were virtually no places to go for game news.
Having the option to switch discs and then the option to only install the second disc but still play off the first would be a ridiculous amount to data to organize and optimize, probably something they don't have time for.
I can't imagine people would complain about a game being multiple discs when you only have to switch once per playthrough, but I guess there are some out there making it a big deal :/
it's 15bux for the dark corners which comes with the deleted scene. It's a good additional chapter, but not worth 15$ alone. I'd recommend against it and if you really want to find out about it just youtube a video of it. It's value is in whether or not you play online.
im still working on last weeks podcast on my ipod. Flooding in the southeast keeps me out of school which keeps me from putting on the headphones during planning.
