The box art clearly isn't final, note the lack of an ESRB rating among other things...

But holy shit, they're going to straight up attack the American capitol? Fucking awesome! I can't wait to woop some terrorist ass... hell maybe we'll even get a White House level.

And, as an employee of Gamestop, I can certainly say that what a lot of the "Pre-order this, subscribe to that" shit is totally true. In many cases, at many stores, that determines on how many hours you get, or even if you keep your job.

I work at a particularly lucky store that doesn't have a batshit crazy manageral team. They have been getting a little to upity about getting reserves and such as of late (because we have a new district manager,) but for the majority of my time there I haven't been pedling people for pre-orders unless I really think they would want to based on their history, or have a history of pre-ordering shit.

People complaining that Gamestop employees don't know what they're talking about could be very true.  However, that's a person to person thing. How are you going to comdem a whole company or store for one perons stupidity. Tenchu Z being good is a matter of opinion anyway, and if that's what you asked for, then take that into consideration, or ask for further clarification... Or do your own research instead of taking a complete strangers opinion and using it for a purchasing desicion. Killzone 2 being on 360 is just dumb, though I sincerly doubt that is what really happened, as there's a fuck ton of marketing for that game all over Gamestops, or there was when the game was new.

My main point, if there is one, is that Gamestop, as a whole, is probably bad. However, my store (and myself specifically) actually care about the customer, and don't try to cheat them out of anything, or bully them to buy stuff. We're not all bad, and identifiying us as such is just... what's the words I'm looking for? Fucking stupid? Yeah. I guess that'll do.

" Nate, you and the other minority in here claiming GameStop to be fine are missing a very important point:  for every one of you that have a pleasant experience, there are twelve people that tell them to "fuck off"...and none of their reasons are unwarranted.

At my workplace, we go to GameStop to buy all our 360 games (even though I've told our boss time and time again to go to Game Crazy instead, as they know what they are talking about and give better trade-in credit).  When Left 4 Dead came out, they sold us three display copies as they were the last three in the store.  These were opened packages, and yet GameStop REFUSED to sell them as used games...even though they were used by the store!!!  BULL    SHIT!!!  Sure, it's a $5.00 savings...but $5.00 x 3 = ?  You telling me you wouldn't want to save $15 from the $180 you have to spend?

Personally, outside of work, I have had nothing but bad experiences there.  The one time I've had a good experience was when I went to find a copy of Crackdown used, and they had it for $9.00.  I bought it and got the Hell out of there.

Besides that time, though...the worst was when I took a stack of games, probably 20 or 30 games...at least 10 were brand spanking new, and 2 were still in the wrappers!  By the way, this was when I was running BonusStage.com, so I was getting a LOT of free games from the companies and decided "why not trade in games that I don't need to hold onto anymore?"  I went in with the games and SPECIFICALLY SAID "hey, I just wanna see how much credit I can get for all these."  How much credit did I get?  $110.  $110 for all those games, and yet at least 10 of them were games that had just come out in the last week or two?  So, I told them "well, that's not enough for what I'm wanting" (which was an Xbox 360 fully paid and pre-ordered) and told them I was going to try Game Crazy across the street.  What do they tell me?

"I thought you were trading all those in, man.  We already gave you the credit."

"Okay, then type into your computer that I don't want the credit and I want to take my games somewhere else."

"Sorry, I can't do that.  It's in the system now."

...................................................................................................................................................for fuck's sake.  -_-
"
All I can say is that is pretty damn impossible. You the only way they could of "taken" your games without giving them back, is if you either signed the sheet of paper at the end of the transaction, or if the Gamestop has a touch pad thing, signed that. The point is, you had to signed SOMETHING to of completed the transaction, in which case that is your own damn fault.

Buying this day one. RE4 was great, probably one of my favorite games of all time.  If RE5 is even half as good as RE4, I'll be extremely satisfied.

As a huge Halo fan, i find it quite interesting that I'm enjoying the hell out of Killzone 2 right now. It's gunplay is unlike anything I've experienced, because you actually have a sense of weight, and I'm loving the online mode.

I enjoyed 1 better, though the graphics surely don't hold up very well. Neither do 2's really. Both games were a good time though.
