You're biggest issue is likely the RAM and not the GPU. "

Play the first one first.
Uncharted 2's main plot is relatively self contained from uncharted 1, but, there's a few little lines and jokes that won't make sense without playing the first one, and since a few of the characters are returning you won't full apriciate their relationships or the further growth of their relationships as the game progresses.

Watching those videos, it sounds like they were all in the same room while they did voice acting, which is great and more games need to do that.
Does this forum have spoiler tags? I wanted to talk about the ending of uncharted 2, but obviously would not do that if there's no spoiler tags. (A rogers video near where I live almost allways puts out games when they get them instead of waiting for release date, was no different with uncharted 2)
 
Basically, I just wanted to say that the very last conversation of the game before the credits, shows how well the voice actors played off eachother and shows how great the benefits can be with having voice actors work off eachother.
