1998 was dope.

The games I'm really excited about were already announced (Witcher 2). That said, of the ones that got announced at E3, my personal pick would be Donkey Kong Country Returns. 

I was born 1978. I was really into cartoons until I was about 12-13. Here were my favorites. 
  

1. Transformers 
2. Captain N: The Game Master 
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 
4. Thundercats 

I cancelled my pre-order. Wasn't ready to commit to buying it. I'm not that into multiplayer, and haven't heard much about the campaign from previews.  
 
That said, I'll definitely pick it up if it reviews well. Transformers were the crux of my existence when I was a lad.

I bought one as well, but I'm waiting for shipment on Monday.

I  kept up with following Jeff and Ryan when they were out of jobs after leaving Gamespot. The Arrow Pointing Down podcast was great, and then Jeff announced Giant Bomb. I remember the video series "How to Build a Bomb" about getting the site set up.  

I remember when DKC was released for the SNES. It was very charming quite a fun platformer. I am looking forward to this.  

I'm not a fan of the series by a long shot. I find this game strangely compelling though. I'll pick it up.
