I suggest using your camera, and using a Rock Band mic (You MUST have one) and then downloading the Sony Vegas trial. Record your audio as you film the video, and then add the video into Vegas editor, and mute the video's audio. You may have to adjust some things to have it sync up.

I have had problems with the audio using Quicktime Pro and the internal mic as well, which is exactly why during my last video I was using a really stupid looking headset.  You should always check the audio before you start; I have done entire video blogs before and had to scrap them due to me not talking loud enough.

So wait, you use that site to get all the updates in one image instead of waiting for hours on the windows update thing? This will be helpful when I reinstall everything again.
And yes, the sound levels were way low.
