 Better community than most of the larger sites (not that I've exactly participated much), a lack of advertising blasting me in the face every time I so much as consider clicking a link, and Jeff's departure from GS.  It's not so much that I was ever a huge fan of his reviews, or GameSpot in general, but the distinct lack of advertising muck over here, reviews that read like reviews instead of press releases, and focus on games instead of industry business seemed to lend credibility to the idea that his departure was fueled by shady shit over at GS.  I still take reviews here with a grain of salt and disagree with plenty of them, but I can at least say that I feel pretty confident taking the reviews on GB into account, which is a lot more than I can say for most.

I'm pretty much the same.  I've been trying to adapt to using a stick, mostly to save my thumb from blisters, but I still have an easier time pulling off combos with a pad.  The only exception so far is Tekken, which I've never been comfortable playing with a pad for some reason, but I'm steadily getting better with King of Fighters games.  Just wish I could say the same for Street Fighter :D

  It would be really nice if Konami would stop farming the series out to random third-party devs.  Vatra Games hasn't even developed a game before, Double Helix mostly handled Earthworm Jim and movie licenses, and Climax has a resume full of disposable garbage.  At this point, I'd rather see the first three games updated on PS3/360 and the series put on hold indefinitely.

I have absolutely zero interest in motion controls of any kind.  Wii, Kinect (ugh, that name...), Move, all of it just strikes me as arbitrary and kind of stupid.  Great for parties, I guess, but so is a couple hundred bucks worth of liquor.
