My point is that anyone can perform well with any character as long as they're willing to put in the effort. Naoto is much better than people are making it seem.

Yea you hit once, count carefully to 10, and convert a combo to like 5k to all your life in damage. It's still pretty nervewracking to play though.

@FluxWaveZ: No Slabby experience so I didn't put up a description. Seems like the same technical level as most Arc puppet characters.

@FluxWaveZ: Well I can beat people who have no experience in the matchup fairly easily. However, you should see how fast my Naoto gets blown the hell up offline by this guy who practised the game couple months in the Japanese arcades. Naoto needs some serious dedication compared to other characters.

@FluxWaveZ: Haha. I played Naoto quite a bit and every round is just working so hard for that SMP and you maybe get one chance because of her poor mixup. Her normals are also pretty terrible and traps kinda weak. I don't see winning a tournament with her or extended sets.

(Oh and I like her but she's pretty bad :P)

If you want to work for counter hits and brutally punish for mistakes, Mitsuru & Akihiko.

If you like zoning, making your opponent play your game and annoying long pressure blockstrings, Yukiko.

If you like guaranteed mixups after knockdown and mindless offense, Chie & Charlie.

If you'd rather just mix people up without caring about safety, Aegis.

If you just kinda like to press buttons and like being good at mid range and air, Teddie & Labrys.

If you just want to guess right twice in the game and block the rest of it, Kanji.

If you don't like winning, Naoto.

I destroyed faces with my day 1 Yukiko. Here's my thoughts: Her neutral game is relatively easy to learn. She's really strong at what she does but combo damage is pretty low so you can't do mistakes. She makes everyone else play her game. I might even consider picking Yukiko as my main character because she shuts down options.

If you need basic tips or don't know what to do with Yukiko in some situations, I can help you out.

I'm going to learn Yukiko from ground up relatively soon. I don't have any other way to play other than playing against other people offline, but that's the best way to learn anyway. First order of business is figuring out how backdash j.B works and 2D oki after B-agi. Then I can do something after 5AA 5B 5C 2C 236[B] and that's good enough for starters.

1. Binary Domain

I'll come back with XCOM and Persona 4 Arena when they're out.

I didn't like Borderlands at all. Paid 1€ in some funky GameStop preorder thingy and I'm not sure if I got a decent deal. Point is, if I had to play and review Borderlands 2 for a mass audience, it probably might look something like this.

I liked the first game but a sequel doesn't really make sense to me. I would probably skip it on any system. I thought Platinum was all about new IPs?

Just because Platinum is developing and has developed new IPs doesn't mean that they don't want to make sequels.

I'm just hinting how I'm not really surprised no one else picked it up except Nintendo.
