@franzlska: I wonder how long Mr. Leavitt will remain the project lead now that that's being reported on before WB voluntells him to leavitt the project. See what I did there
@finaldasa: I'm not sure if you're referring to me, or referring to perhaps some interim posts that actually were dickish and got removed and you're just giving the heads up, in which case that's totally understandable.
If you are referring to me, though, I think it's perfectly fair to ask someone to clarify the intent of a statement. At no point was it disrespectful or condescending, it wasn't insulting OP's intelligence or attacking them personally.
I can't tell if this thread is satire or not. Is it about Gamestop or is it a thinly veiled dump on Six Days in Fallujah by implying it's going to be a shit game that's not worth buying at full price?
Oh boy, delayed indefinitely. This is now the spiritual successor to my old eight year strong Doom 2016 thread. My body is ready. I want a good SoT remake, BUT AT WHAT COST?
I never actually played these, partly because the gameplay for Mass 1 felt so dated by the time I bought them on Steam. So, I guess if they're making the mechanics a bit more uniform between the three games (which a couple of preview videos seemed to imply), I'll finally play the trilogy. I like space.
I just finally started playing Black Mesa, after buying it back in March. Holy shit, man, what a quality product. You can tell that it was made with genuine love and care by people that loved the original game. I'm enjoying it thoroughly.
@glots: For what its worth, the 2008 game is so completely different in every way from the Sands trilogy that it may as well be a completely different franchise. It had some really cool concepts, but didn't quite stick the landing.
Need for Speed Most Wanted, 2005 version, holds a very special place in my heart. Maybe it was the time it came out, maybe it's that it was just a really good game, maybe it was the soundtrack, maybe it was Razor Callahan. Whatever the reason, it's my favorite Need for Speed game. It was also a fantastic showpiece as a launch 360 title while still having functional previous gen versions, so I was able to play the next gen version at a kiosk and then not be totally disappointed by the OG Xbox version in comparison.
For more sim racing games, I had a long love affair with Forza 4 when it came free with my Xbox 360 slim. Prior to that, I had never really been into sim racers. I never got in to any of the subsequent main series Forzas after that, but I do really like the Horizon series.
