You're never ready to lose someone. Especially someone as full of life as Ryan. He's the first thing that springs to mind when I see the words "Giant Bomb". I don't really know what to say. I'm heartbroken, but even that seems trivial when you think about what his friends and family are going through. And he just got married. Fuck. We'll miss you, bud. :'(

I suppose I pulled a Brad a couple years ago when I became a member of the Mile High Club. Did anybody know that when it slows down, you can actually jump to guy holding the hostage and score an easy head shot with seconds left?

I'd be REALLY excited about this if they hadn't borked the multiplayer portion of Crysis 2. Instead of patching things regularly, and fixing the bugs and lag, they just decided to give us map packs instead. I can't support that.

@studnoth1n: I'm not one of the people who thinks the ending should be changed, and that whole #RetakeMassEffect thing is silly. I just think that there is OBVIOUSLY something to be pissed about here. I've been a BioWare fan for a long, long time, and they haven't outright lost my faith (DA II not withstanding), but I can be both angry AND curious to see what happens. I'm of the mind that some kind of post game DLC was in the works from the very beginning.

Interviewer: [Regarding the numerous possible endings of Mass Effect 2] “Is that same type of complexity built into the ending of Mass Effect 3?”

Hudson: “Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them.”

They flat out lied. Period. YOU LITERALLY GET AN A, B or C ENDING. People can think the fans are just bitching over nothing, and they should get over it, but the reality is that they, and I, were lied to.

I just wanted to save Tali, honestly. She's my boo, and I couldn't live without her. Her role in ME3 is entirely worth it too, which makes it sweeter. :)

This entire fiasco has had a lot of key instances where me canceling my pre-order sounds like the greatest idea ever:

That "Beta" that didn't fucking work; people from DICE openly insulting gamers who didn't like it, or the fact that they used a decidedly un-Battlefield map to show off their horrendously unfinished code; the fact that the servers, for the FOURTH BATTLEFIELD RELEASE IN A ROW are broken as all hell on consoles. Am I missing anything?

Oh, yeah. The fact that all the PR and advertising have been doing nothing but trying to make Call of Duty look bad. "Above and Beyond the Call?" Are you serious, EA?

Kudos to Activision for not taking the bait. This whole thing just strikes me as shocking, to say the least.

I've known this for a while, but I ignore it, because I'm always going to think of him as the nameless character that I molded into whatever I wanted to do with him at the time. GTA III is always going to be my favorite game in the series, because I played it so much. I really, truly loved it. No other game in the series hooked me like this one, and I think some of the magic was because the character was nameless, and never spoke a word. I felt like it was MY character, and I did with him as I pleased, something no other GTA has been able to offer, at least to me.
