...Kinda sucked, but hey, they had free Hot Dogs which made up for it.
And, I guess not all of it was bad, but stuff like that passes by so fast you wonder if you were having fun or just going through a wierd daydream half the time (they had bright strobe lights, really trippy stuff).
I feel somewhat tired..., listening to some Gorillaz (which I haven't listened to in a long time, great band).

4 day weekends are good yes. Have this Homecoming dance to go to tomorrow, and only have German homework to try and bring me down.
Well I say screw German, I'll procrastinate as usual, but still manage to get it done. For now, I'll just sit back, relax, and listen to some Electric Wizard. Cause Doom Metal fits all my moods.
And in 5 days is my 15th birthday, and in 8 days is my 15th birthday party, also known as the day I'll have enough money to buy Rock Band 2 for the Xbox 360 I'm getting for my birthday.
Afterwards, I'll save my money for this beauty:

And the teachers assistant (the actual teacher doesn't teach the class, moreso she surveys her assistant's struggle to keep us under control) cheerful excited attitude towards the lesson is only making us more annoyed. WOOOOOO, PROPORTIONS, HOW FUN! (Getting maliced with a 40 foot ladder, much more excitement in that)
Seriously, I'll never understand the worth of Algebra for as long as I live.

Planning my 15th birthday party is tough stuff. Letting a lot of people know about it is tough stuff. Planning stuff is tough stuff.
High School is tough stuff (dispite having streight A's), homework is tough stuff (So I have The Sun Smells Too Loud by Mogwai to get my head streight, love this song to death)
Finding a good time to go to the music store with my dad to pick up guitar strings is tough stuff (especially with my sort of time management issues)
Finding crappy Doom Metal is tough stuff. (Since all of it is kickass in its own way, you can't beat awesome dredging riffs and...doom)
Waiting for your birthday so you can play Rock Band 2 is tough stuff (That setlist looks like FUN)
Waiting for Project Origin to be released is tough stuff. (but the wait will be worth it I hope)
Listening to the song Suteki Da Ne (Isn't It Wonderful) is tough stuff. Since if you've played through Final Fantasy X, and then ever try listening to that song, you get choked up inside. Damn...feel like a wuss....
Composing a good song, or just a guitar composition that you feel is really relevant or good, without having a second thought on what others will think of it is tough stuff. (I really need to get on that)
Playing Zanarkand on piano by ear is tough stuff. (need sheet music nao pls)

In other words, I was at this awesome cover band concert of Deep Purple (the band is known as Cheap Purple, and they are amazing). And, since I was alone for a long time, freezing a bit, with a lot of food in me, and being completely engulfed in people...
My dad later came (from taking my brother back home, he is too young for this sort of thing), and I felt as sick as a dog. But man, I had FUN.
Not from later throwing up the contents of what I ate and drank, but the concert was amazing. Makes me even more excited to see the REAL Deep Purple in November.
Lesson learned? Bring my damn sweater next time...>__>.

Have a good time on saturday, and have a shitty sunday buryed in homework without anything else to keep your spirits up except for your music (Which, for me, consists of listening to Nirvana, Pelican, Alice In Chains,Led Zeppelin,The Pixies, The Fall Of Troy, Pink Floyd, and now Mogwai.) All good music to listen to while contemplating plans to not pass out from boredom related to homework, and they all suit my moods while moving my way through it.
And, speaking of music (which is all I ever ramble on about), I might put up some more videos of me playing guitar. I learned how to play Caribou by The Pixies, which I'm happy about, since the style of the song is freaken sweet. And if I think a song is freaken sweet, it's even better when I can play it:D. Another song might be Black Dog by Led Zeppelin, which might end up as an instructional video on how to play the riff and other parts of the song...besides the solo. Fun to play, tricky to learn at first, but it's very easy after you do it a few times.
And, when I get my guitar pick back (left it at my guitar lessons class, have to resort to using dimes or quarters or shirt pins), I might try and write actual instrumentals (well, guitar compositions) and upload them. Just to see what people think.

This should also be another video-game song that can be in Rock Band (Only video-game related song featured in Rock Band is "Stay Alive" off Portal).
Amirite? The song is just freaken awesome.
