Angels and Airwaves is a good band that I enjoyed for a while, but man, Tom cannot sing well at a live show. He does this weird, infliction tone at live shows and it just sounds so weird...
No Man's Sky was the last game I ever preordered. I got burnt so hard by that game that until reviews come out from good sources, I will actively hold off making a purchase until I see the game delivers.
Animal Crossing is probably a given as there hasn't been a mainline game on the console since the Wii (and the one I am most hyped for). Outside of that, probably some Wii U games making it over like Pikimin 3 or Smash at some point.
While Eventide Island was pretty cool, the reward doesn't justify the patience that is needed. It is actually one of my main criticism of BoTW that challenging shrines does not match the reward at the end versus a shrine that is simply out in the open. You still get the same reward regardless.
I recently got premium membership for giant bomb (yay for having money!) but I have been going through past premium content that I never got the chance to watch. But I am currently half way through the Yakuza 0 Beast in the East and man, I missed a really good game this year! I don't think I haven't been entertained by an open world game since Fallout New Vegas, but I definitely have to pick it up sometime next year and play through it all.
