@truthtellah: You seem to be a actively against having Hatred sold on Steam. There is no reason to deny people their enjoyment when it doesn't harm anyone. You are in the same boat as the people that were against Depression Quest.

He shouldn't be reviewing the game in the first place since he isn't an avid gamer. It seems he got the talking points from friends/twitter. And they are right, its a poor game in many aspects. BioWare really has gotten worse after EA. I will be really disappointed if this game comes up as the GOTY at GB. They should know better.

7th place from 2k+ games on Greenlight and it got pulled down from people that won't play the game anyway. How is this ok? Whatever, the game will be released somewhere and the people that want it will buy it. I'm just annoyed by the lack of respect in this matter.

I think it depends on the age group. Then there is the factor that LoL and Dota are highly competitive, where you invest on average half an hour to win. Its not fun to lose and people get angry when someone isn't doing their part for the team. Dota already has a system for filtering out dickheads in the matchmaking, right?

Yesterday i went to twitch to check out what is going on. Naturally the top games were filled with teens doing "lol so random" things. I scrolled all the way down to see the least popular games and i noticed Microsoft Flight Sim X. Started a stream, and there it was a middle aged guy flying a passenger plane towards an airfield calmly explaining how the planes systems work, while the chat asked more on topic questions. Its was so chill and cool.

For me GOTY is Divinity OS. But it will probably be far away from the top at GB.

Looks like people really don't like listening to other opinions. Anyone for internet policing beyond what already is done will feel how terrible this idea is when their own beliefs are censored because someone abused their power.

No thought police please! I am reading 1984 right now and it sends shivers down my spine. I have also heard enough stories of people getting jailed over saying a joke towards the ruling state.
