I have a question for all the people who had marathons for 10+ hours. Doesn't your head hurt after a while? Don't you get hungry? Don't you get tired? Don't you get mentally exhausted? Doesn't your ass get sore from sitting on it so long? Maybe I'm just a crazy person, but once I started pushing on about 3 or 4 hours, either my head starts to hurt, or I just get bored.

Ah god you hate to see something like this. Hopefully all at 38 Studios goes well. You never want to see game developers go through shit like this.

If you say anything other than Google, you're crazy.

Oh god, that plan about faking a fire drill to gain access to West and Zampella's computers is ridiculous. This story is getting more juicy and interesting by the second. When did Patrick become to go-to guy for these Infinity Ward stories? Great stuff Patrick.

Thanks a lot for the input guys. I'll probably start with either Planescape: Torment or Baldur's Gate 1.

Hey guys, I was just wondering which of these games would be best for someone who has never played these types of games before. I've always heard high praise for each of these games, but never been around to playing them. I know all of these games are incredibly deep and complex, so for a newbie like me, which of these would be the easiest and most fun to get into? Also, do you need to play the first Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale to play the sequels? Any help is appreciated.

I wrote up a blog about some of my favorite gaming introductions. If you can feature it on your next spotlight, I would be very grateful!

I haven't looked through the entire thread but... am I the only Lakers fan in here?
