If "used games" includes "rented games" then yes, that would stop me from buying it. I've rented hundreds of games over the life on my 360, and only purchased a few dozen. If the PS4 lets me rent games and the new Xbox doesn't, I know what I'll be buying, no matter the price difference between them. If neither of them let me rent games, well I'll just use that money I've put aside for them and upgrade my computer a bit further, and earlier then I had planned.

I don't care about the Gamespy shut down one way or the other, but this sucks for 1up. I never actually read any of their articles, but I used to love listening to Active Time Bauble, Legendary Thread, In This Thread, 1UP FM, 4 Guys 1UP, 1Up Yours, The Oddcast. And of course, their best podcast every, GFW Radio.

Guess I'm gonna have to download a bunch of episodes before the site goes down.

The ONLY benefit of Console games over PC is that I can rent console games through gamefly and the like. I'm fine with the always on connection, as I live in a large city and have never lost internet for any meaningful length of time, but I rented over 60 games last year. I hardly used my PS3 this gen, but if I can't play 80% of my games on the next xbox, well that's an easy choice.

I'd rather they keep the actors, and set the story in the Vong era. They'd be the right ages, and there's lots of action and war in that series.

What if I use a multi-blade disposable? I pick them up from Costco, cost like a buck each and have 3 blades. Each lasts about a week.

You NEVER leave GB man. Once you're a Duder you're a Duder all the way from your first quick look to your last bradin' day.

When you're a Duder, if the spit hits the ramp, you got brothers around, you're a flight clubbin man!

You're never alone, you're never offline! You're home with your own: when Hardcore Dave's expected, you're well protected!

Then you are set with a capital D, which you'll never forget till they cart you away. When you're a Duder, you stay a Duder!

Deus Ex or System Shock 2

Honestly? BioShock. I feel like it was an absolutely iconic game with great atmosphere and fantastic story telling. Plus, the twist at the ending is probably one of the biggest "what the fuck" moments in games, and it's handled very well. Everyone should at least play it once.

I strongly disagree. System Shock 2 did everything better. (they even copied SS2 twist)

Bioshock is a spiritual sequel to System Shock 2 and led by many of the same people. They might have copied a lot of things, but they copied it from their own work.

Yes I know. System Shock 2 still did those things years earlier and better.

You're preaching to the many here.

My top 10 would be Tetris, Super Mari Bros. 2, GoldenEye, Final Fantasy 7, Grand Theft Auto 3, Halo CE, Half-life, Starcraft, Civilization 3, and of course, SS2.

Renaming Browse to Wiki is a good idea. Having a larger search bar is a good idea. It seems they got rid of the Friends Online, and User Level identiers, which is a bit of a shame. I don't understand the need for two Store links however. Either keep the one on the bar, and remove the one by the logo. Or keep the old logo one, and swap the bar one back to being Help.

The layout itself is nice.
