I found out about it through the whole GS controversy thing. I joined the website way back then but didn't really use it at all until a couple of weeks back, I don't see why because the website is great!
I'm from the UK and I play American Football for a team based in Manchester and I play Rugby for my school. Also play a little bit of Football, 5 a side.
My interest in games have started to decline and I don't know why. I think it may be because I have exams at the moment but I haven't really been into a game for about a year. It's a shame, I miss the days where I could play a game for a day straight, up at 8 in bed at 4 AM only to repeat the same schedule. However, I'm more of the mainstream gamer, mainly buying games such as COD and Gears of War.
What do you guys think? Has your interest in games declined slightly over the last few years?
This is one of the biggest problems for me when I play games, I rarely finish them. It's annoying but I just tend to get bored half way through, last game I could play non stop for a while was Mass Effect 2.
I remember when I got to the Water Temple, I stopped playing it but I eventually managed to fight through it and complete the game. I played it recently and when I got to the Water Temple again I beat it in about 2 hours, I was rather impressed with myself
Something that would be a decent length and appeal to most people in the community. I'd probably say the next Legend of Zelda when it comes out, but to keep us tide over since then something like Red Dead Redemption.
Also, I know it's very unlikely but what would you guys think about an endurance run for older games like the original Resident Evil or Ocarina of Time?
It is a great game. I had it on my PS2 a while back, I love the British sense of humour in it. Even though it's a little bit stereotyped but it's a nice sense of fresh air, good for a 'chap' like me :P
