Getting a little annoyed here with the menu lag in muliplayer. Gameplay doesn't seem affected but having to mash A,D-Pad or Shoulder buttons a few times sometimes to re spawn or change class etc gets kinda old. Anyone else noticed this ? reportedly this also happens in BFBC2 but ive not experienced it there.

Done some more testing on this. Issue doesn't happen when running from disk but does happen with HD install. My 360 is a Pro HDMI model and was serviced by MS about 6 months ago for disk reading issues, has since been perfect. Anyone have any comments/feedback on this ? as ill be going back to retailer I think but could do with some input ..

Decided on the collectors edition which is unusually sensible for me. I am making up for this by getting the quite frankly silly Prestige edition of Black Ops though.
Not a fan of the DMR, a major factor in this is I suck with it though. Part of this is I am sure is down to Reach being somewhat of a throwback in terms of damage, almost every shooter these days follows the "modern" model of Call of Duty regarding how many bullets an enemy can take in Single and especially Multiplayer before they expire. For me this takes some getting used to after playing so much MW2 and BF2.
@KennyPowers: So if i was to continue the campaign from Sword Base on Normal then clearing Winter would count towards the appropriate campaign completion achievement, and in doing this I would be able to continue sequentially though the missions as normal without a menu selection after finishing Sword Base ? How would this work if once I finished Campaign on Normal I wanted to try Heroic however for a second play though ?
I am stuck on ONI:Shield Base on Legendary having finished Winter Contingency on Legendary and Id like to drop down to Heroic or Normal as its kicking my ass unless i a totally "in the zone" and even then the checkpoint/save system messes me up.
Would i get achievement credit for completion of campaign on Heroic/Normal if I just start Sword Base at a lower difficultly and play from there or do I have to start over from the start at Normal/Heroic ? Also under what cicrumstances eaxctly can you resume a mission in progress and still be credited for mission completion ? as I reading conflicting advice on this.
This also brings up something else to, due to my every so slighly OCD nature, haveing the first two missions "Highest Difficultly completed" set to Legedary with the rest on Normal/Heroic is going to annoy me greatly as there seems to be no way to reset/delete campaign stats as they are saved on Bungie/Live servers.
