It was a dream. Booker woke up from it at the end. Cause multiuniverses and cities in the sky aren't real.

They set themselves up perfectly for that, and I'm sure the last DLC will explitly say that so they can go to next-gen Bioshock with a clean slate (in other words, they used the ending twist just because they needed a twist, and will drop it cause it would be dumb to follow up on it).

Obviously they won't say this until much later, because people hate the 'dream' conclusion and will start shitting on the game when they realize it.

Valid interpretation, but I don't subscribe to it. And you forget that the previous games were System Shock, so there's no reason the next iteration can't be NanoShock or MetaShock or something like that and have nothing to do with anything prior.

@oldirtybearon: Yeah that's what I figure the logical place is to go from here. The previous franchise was System Shock, so no reason why they can't make the next Shock game in a completely different universe/setting that has nothing to do with any previous game.

No real insights other than what's already being discussed, but I love it when a game is able to get us into discussions like this. It doesn't happen often enough and it makes it all the more special when it does.

If EA is smart, and hopefully for Insomniac (those guys are awesome), they don't release Fuse anywhere near GTA 5.

@notdavid: And then promptly murdering the license by trying to "make it Call of Duty." I really hope they don't get it, the Saints deserve better.

All they have to do is redraw and beautify Oddworld 1 and 2, and put them on XBLA/PSN/Steam. I hope that's what they're doing.

@Afroman269:   New 360 has a dedicated Kinect port that will power it as well. For old 360's you'll plug it in USB and it'll need to be plugged into a separate outlet.
