It could also be a response to...Blockbuster? They've been doing game rentals for a while now on their online service and since Dish bought them they have been throwing a lot of effort behind it.
But yea the split clearly has to do with them trying to get better deals for streaming and might even be a response to so many people raging over the price hike.
Wow stupid process. I went to the eShop to see if it was available yet and didn't see anything so I shut off my 3DS until I saw this post. Thanks Patrick.
@blacklabeldomm: 8 hours until I can not get my shit pushed in? No thanks.
I've tried nanovision but I can't having to look at the world in a way that hurts my eyes and makes it harder to see. I move too fast for popping it on and off to help.
Who thinks the stealth ability completely breaks the MP? It's so incredibly maddening when you check a spot and see nothing and then you get killed from a guy in that very spot. The cloak is not visible enough. There is a perk to detect people using cloak but you have to get like level 6 stealth to unlock the perk which is crazy. It seems like they need to unlock that earlier or make the cloak more visible. I like the game a lot but the cloak is just utterly maddening.
I still have yet to finish RE4 so maybe this will be my chance! I played a bit of both the GameCube and PS2 version way back when. Recently (as in the last year) spend a good bit of time with the Wii version but still never ended up beating it. I'm kind of excited. I wonder how Code Veronica will play. I'm not interested in the pre-RE4 control schemes.
Yup, happens with movies a lot too. For games: Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Fallout 3 all come to mind as games I hated, picked up months (if not years) later and loved them.
Don't really dig the "The Third" thing. Just reminds me of Shrek and that's never a good thing. I loved the first two Saints Row games and I hope this one continues the tradition. I have to agree that GTA has become way too serious. I'm just glad Saints Row was there to pick up the slack.
