I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking about the combined effects of intention and product? If so, I can't really give an answer, because I don't know what their intentions are regarding the statue. I can only comment on the physical statue and its physical properties.
I'm not sure what possible contribution you could make to the converstaion unless you are at least willing to speculate on what the intentions of this product were. A robot could describe its physical properties.
I don't believe we're talking about describing the statue's physical properties, but rather how its depiction relates to the larger issue of sexism.
In the absence of intention, I can only pass comment on the situation based on what is physically observable.
I agree that knowing the intention here would make a world of difference, but simply making assumption based on practically nothing isn't something I'm comfortable with.
