Antonica, formerly known as Tunaria, is the largest continent in the world of Norrath.
A general location used to store and invest money. Whether players rob it, or store money in it and gain some interest, banks are a long-standing institution in video games.
A place to buy alcoholic beverages and to mingle/meet with non player characters. Bars in games are sometimes essential to advance the plot, or recruit party members. Bars are the modern equivalents of taverns. You see taverns in fantasy games and bars in modern/sci-fi games.
A building where soldiers sleep.
A port where seagoing vessels can take on or discharge cargo.
Erud's Crossing is a small sea that separates the west coast of Antonica from Odus.
A location set up for security.
A place where the player can rent a bed/room for the night, or cause trouble. Hotels are distinct locations in games where the player goes to restore their health, save the game, cure status effects, or even to advance the plot and/or level. Also called Inns in some games.
Norrath is the world at the center of the EverQuest franchise.
A prison is a secure location built for the confinement of a person or persons for a set length of time. It is often built by the state to punish criminals, and sequester them from productive members of society.
Qeynos Hills is a relatively peaceful region just outside the gates of Qeynos before venturing into the Plains of Karana.
A place where you can buy, and sometimes sell things.
The tavern offers respite for weary travelers and parched throats alike. Leave your troubles at the door, and enjoy an evening of wine and song.
