Red Dead Redemption is the spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, featuring a vibrant, open world set in the decline of the American Wild West. Players take on the role of former outlaw John Marston, who is forced to hunt down his former gang to regain his family.
Four more Undead Nightmare screenshots. And Ho-lee-shit.
This is absolutely terrifying and turns me completely around on the idea of buying this DLC. I can't fucking wait now!
Ha, so true. Games seem to go from being the Best Thing Ever!™ to the Worst Thing Ever!™ in the time it takes to open them." @Jimbo said:
We're easy to divulge into the hype. I'm sure I'll find a multitude of reasons to be disappointed when it's released. "" Gamers are so easy to please. "
" Zombie bears are the worst. "I sense a sequel thread!
You know, I'd like to see more zombie/horror stories take place in the Old West, seems like a great mix. I mean Darkwatch was one of the only games to really do that.
" @habster3 said:Guess what? I've never played L4D due to Valve acting all gay and hating on the PS3 (At least they'll give us Portal 2, I guess)." @Interfect said:Yeah it's called Left 4 Dead and it rocks. ""Fuuuuuuu. I didn't know there was gonna be zombie animals. "Well... you can't have a zombie game without zombie animals, right? "
"I'm hoping that completing Undead Nightmare's story unlocks a zombie John costume or something that you can wear in the main game."Unless you can bring John Marston back as a zombie, I am not interested.
" @Jimbo said:No need to apologise to me dear, but if you could make whatever your point is a little clearer that'd be grand.I'm sorry, what the hell are you again, Jimbo? Cus this wistful above it all attitude is probably the most emblematic identifier for an internet gamer." @Abyssfull said:

"
The mythical animals are what I want to see. Warewolf? Bigfoot? Unicorn? Chupacabra? Not sure what they'll be but I hope they remain secret so we can discover them ourselves.
" @Abyssfull said:Yep. The concept and immediate reaction to those screens is "awesome!" But... come on... zombie dogs? Anyone who's ever played resident evil knows that those things are no fun at all. Of course, the landscape is a lot more open. But then you also have to take into account John's slow-ass turning animations and the frustration of having your horse running away mere inches out of your reach while you're trying to escape death.Ha, so true. " The enemy designs looks really cool but after the strong and rather serious narrative the main game presented us with I still can't help thinking this looks really dumb. "It's just to give some much more extroverted fun. Consider this RDR's own Ballad of Gay Tony. Obviously not in the same context, but The Ballad broke away from GTAIV and the L&D's serious and grim nature for something more wild and wacky, similar to Undead Nightmare.
