Rockstar's pulled it off yet again. I think that this should take away any doubt that Rockstar is the king of open world games.

who the fuck cares about the NY TIMES review? I understand excitment for the game, I want it bad, but dont start posting every irrelevant review you find >_>

Did New York Times break the review embargo, or did they get special permission from Rockstar? 
 
I could see R* wanting mainstream and respected press outlets to publish reviews before the usual gaming press.

Actually can't believe it's coming out the day I go home and have to leave my xbox at my flat for possibly over a month.

That review tells me absolutely nothing about the game. "Oh, it's set in the Wild West and there are, like, choices and stuff" Well, whoop-de-fucking-doo, mister reviewer. I could've gotten more from the back of the fucking box.

If you were R*, wouldn't you allow an outlet who claimed your claimed that your game "sets a new standard for sophistication and ambition in electronic gaming" break embargo, allowing potential buyers to read it before Tuesday? "
