Hope this is as good as it could be. If it is, this has potential to be AWESOME!

I see those screens, and even though I know it's a western, I keep thinking Shadow of the Colossus.
I think it's just those wide open plains that do it for me, but I'm interested!

anyone know if they still sell this game in stores??

Surprisingly, this is the first game I'm really looking forward too. I really enjoyed Red Dead Revolver.

I remember loving Red Dead Revolver but I don't remember the game at all. I think I'm excited about this game.

Definitely sounds promising to me. Never played the original Red Dead, but a "GTA in the Wild West" seems like a must buy to me. The Western Frontier's one of those settings that's been underused in video games for way too long IMO.

Looks like it has some "free roam, sandbox" style game play. looking good

They better keep the spaghetti western music that the first game had.

I liked the first one. It had its flaws, but also some great moments as well. With the new technology and direction they're taking it, this game looks like it has some serious potential.

I really liked the first game, but the only thing I remember about it was the quick draw shootout mechanics. Everything else, including the story and characters, is completely lost to me.

I hope it's like Gun cause Gun was awesome.

I was very disappointed with Gun. Never played RDR, but that was because I don't want a linear Western. This looks to be open though, and since it's a R* San Diego game (of Midnight Club fame), I would expect this one to be open world. Also the screens imply that as well.

Thats good news! There are not enough (good) western themed games so i´m looking forward to this... And if its Rockstar making it, i´m pretty confident its going to be a hit. I just hope the story is as good as the first part of GTA 4!

I didn't play the first game, so I might keep an eye on it. If Rockstar can create an open world as engaging as GTA IV, I think there could be a very solid title here. Saying that, I'll be disappointed if you can't get smashed at the saloon then ride your horse across the unforgiving, and very blurry, Wild West.

Red Dead Revolver was absoloute garbage. Quite surprising how short people's memories can be when the words Rockstar & RAGE engine are introduced into the prospective formula.

Red Dead Revolver was one of my favorite games on the PS2. Hopefully this one turns out really well too.

I hope they have some northern environments, like in Ravenous.

The first Red game is/was one of my favorites and I still play it constantly, sadly though it was one of the few Rockstar games that never got ported to the PC, hopefully Redemption will get put on the PC like GTA IV, as I do most, if not all of my gaming on the PC now.
