Resident Evil 4 (Wii)
I Have been playing Resident Evil 4 since the release year of 2005. It is in "My Top 10 Favorite Games of All Time" And well deserved!
I originally bought it on the Gamecube and beat the game easily 10 times (Obtaining every Secret). When I bought My Wii and heard that they were Re-Releasing Resident Evil 4, I had to go and get it. When I popped the game in for the first time, I didn't expect what I got. That game that I came to love only got BETTER! With increased Graphics, All the exclusives from GC and PS2, And other Minor additions the game took a climb up on the ladder of Amazing Games.
The Games Protagonist made his original Appearance in Resident Evil 2 along side Claire Redfield. Leon Scott Kennedy Returns with a vengeance (and a new voice actor). He is a Memorable character which also makes an appearance in his own movie (Resident Evil: Degeneration).
The Games story takes place when the Presidents Daughter is kidnapped by an organization call "The Los Illuminados". From the opening of the game there is a quick cutscene catching you up on the history of the series and then you are thrown into the action, No more then 10 minutes after turning on the game.
Come to find out that the small town you find yourself in is filled with people that are infected (not with the T-Virus). You make your way through the game Making new friends and reconnecting with old ones (Spoiler). As the Story continues to unfold, you find out that there are others involved in the affair that span far outside of the stories Plot. And You must play the game to find it all out! Believe me it is Worth it!
The are an Awesome Amount of unlockables that can be obtained by playing through the game and beating the other side games that you unlock after beating the game the first time through.
One of the best additions to the series is the ability to Sell and Buy Items (I.E. Guns and Health). You Can also Upgrade or "Tune Up" Your weapons to make them more powerful. And it Helps!
The Music score for this game is one of the best in the Series! The music picks up pace when the Enemy is inbound. But there is also ambient sounds that make up for the silence. But the most scary is when there is no music or sounds at all.
If you have a Wii or a GameCube, I Highly Suggest picking up this game to play! (I DO NOT Recommend the PS2 or PC versions due to the lack of certain features and graphics)
It goes down as a Timeless classic in my Book and deserves all the Hype I give it!
