Heavily inspired by the disc combat scenes in the 1982 film Tron, Ricochet has players battle against one another using throwing discs in abstract arenas comprised of floating platforms.
You throw the discs at people, you hit the jump pads, you get the one disc what decapitates people. Everthing is all Tron colored and you're wearing a jumpsuit. Ricochet dude. Ricochet should be the new e-sport. And real sport too.
Why doesn't this have a decent wiki? You'd think that Valve fans would be all over this shit. I'd do it, but I've already a lot to manage as is. Plus I've never played the game.
I feel like the time has passed for Half-Life 2: Ep 3. Only because nobody makes that kind of FPS anymore. Not that it would be bad or anything, just not in style.
Never played Ricochet, but if Valve is gonna make a sequel to an existing franchise, it's Ricochet... because they already made sequels for everything else.
The rich fiction demands another entry. There was you, the blue platforms, other guys who needed to be decapitated, the little triangles and the red platforms. Timeless.
When you would hit one of the jump triangles but get interfered with and cock up your trajectory and adjust on the fly? And they think Dark Souls is rewarding.
