Sure, these days have almost every game sporting the newfangled 3D, but way back when, everyone had to live with plain old 2D. 2D, or two dimensions, limit the game to scrolling backgrounds, but some games even now make use of this basic concept.
The form a character takes when they have undergone a fundamental physical or psychological change. This is usually the result of training, magic, or a specific event.
Athletes are people that play sports, anything from baseball to football to track and field. Athletes in video games typically give gamers a chance to hit that home run or kick the winning goal that normally would take years of training to do.
