So yeah, if you land the last hit on the final boss in this game just as he kills you, the game will bug up. You will miss out on the ending and bad stuff will happen to your save file.

I recommend making sure you have at least two hits remaining when you finish him.

Also dyslexia will screw with ending story bits and kind of ruin them, but at least that's probably intended.

Cellar Door Games has fixed this bug with a patch now. They also made the game not crash when loading a corrupted save file and just load a backup save file instead! Worked brilliantly for me!
