    I would rather get GTAIC for the PC... And why this obsession with GS reviews all over these forums? They have the reviews I dislike the most (right after the Xbox Official Magazine, those suck even worst).

    I've seen alot of reviews calling this a next gen San Andreas. San Andreas is my favorite game of all time so I'm definitely gonna pick this up

    We've already seen IGNs review of it, gamespot is definitely not credible at all. Regardless this games looks like a lot of fun, I have it in the mail ready to get here from gamefly already.

    There is an obsession with reviews from all other websites and magazines, not just GS. I personally find it annoying that each review has a separate thread, but I am definitely in the minority it seems.

    ...and I actually think this game looks like fun. An absolutely ridiculous sandbox game with full co-op. It reminds me of the ridiculous aspect of the GTA trilogy on PS2 etc.

    Exactly, when GTA was actually fun to play..4 made it so serious and everything I felt the overall fun of what it was completely was removed.

    That's how I feel SR2 will be...the whole Gary Busey and Tera Patrick stuff was a bit retarded, but I can look the other way on that. It just reminds me of all those crazy things you could do like skydiving even though it makes no sense. I think GTAIV and Saints Row 2 compliment each other rather well. You can get two very different experiences from both games and both are enjoyable in their own way.

    I don't get what people are getting so excited about this game for. Sure, it looks like fun and I'll most definitely play it but its just gonna be Grand Theft Auto except retarded.

    Its gonna be what GTAIV wasn't though in terms of Sandbox gameplay, its gonna be what the GTA ps2 games were like except  maybe even a bit crazier, GTAIV chose to go th e more real serious route and took out everything fun and crazy in just the gameplay alone, so thats where SR2 comes in..its one or the other basically.

    Liking it doesn't necasarily correlate to a high score. Just because a game is fun it doesn't mean it's critically good. Case in point, dynasty warriors.
    Gamespot still puts out good reviews. They get way more hate than they deserve.

    As for SR2, it sure looks like it'll be really enjoyable, but with all the games coming out, i'm looking for a bit more than mindless fun in the next few months.

    I guess you and I have a pretty different stance on what is defined as "fun" in a game, then, because I can have a great deal of fun in GTA IV whereas I found a lot of the zanier elements of the older GTA games very gimmicky and, therefore, I never used them.

    did the saints row devs killed your family or something? I've seen you hating on the game a lot, I'm pretty sure you didn't even played the first one.
    Anyways, I can't wait for SR2, it will most likely be my favorite game of the year along with Dead Space.

    I would not take fuck all from this review quite frankly, Tom McShea's handy work is lol - meh.

    If I recall correctly he was the dude that gave Lost Winds on Wii Ware a 5.5. a game that numerous other reviewers were giving 8 and 9s

    So what? Having a different opinion makes you wrong? There can only be one range of valid opinions for every game?

    Anyway, I picked this game up today. It's got its flaws, especially in the graphics department, but it's still a lot of pure and ridiculous fun.

    It also has fun side-missions, which are things I hardly ever bothered with in any GTA game.
