Sandwiches, they're delicious! They're also featured in many video games, usually to replenish health.

Whats more important?

In regards to a sandwich whats more important, the meat or the cheese? I gotta go with meat on this one.

Deffinatley the meat. The sauce comes a close second, followed by the cheese

Meat no question, cheese is just an incentive.

Mmmn this thread is making me hungry. I could go for a Sanvich right now.

IRTT:

Meat. Cheese is just gravy.

Definitely meat. Cheese and bread wouldn't taste so good.

I can make a sandwich with nothing but cheese and still find it tastes good - don't even need butter.

But just a slice of bread with meat? No way.
They compliment each other but, in my opinion, the meat is no more than an addon.

Bread.

Cheese, actually. Loads of cheese.

Ofcourse its the meat, everything revolves around what type of meat it is. Eg. if its beef you go with cheese and if its Chicken, well chicken's another story.

The meat, no question.

Well, I count a grilled cheese sandwich as an actual sandwich, but for the most part, the meat is the most necessary to have in a sandwich, or else it has no personality, so meat for sure.

Meat, definitely

Hmm... I was going to say meat, but then I remembered the beloved grilled cheese. I don't eat sandwiches with only meat, but I will eat them with just cheese. I think that says a little something about the importance of cheese on a sandwich. Regardless, I'm still voting for meat.

Meat can stand alone without the bread, so I think it's a blend.  I think both are just as important.

That is a good order. Meat is the foundation of the sandwich (the bread too of course), an the sauce and cheese come to complement those aspects.  You won't specify which type of meat complements the cheese, it is the other way around.

The Cheese.

Bad cheese can turn good meat & fresh bread into a bland and tasteless sandwich. I can make do with baloney or boiled ham if the cheese is quality and flavorful.

A better question might be, what goes on your sandwich of choice?

I like turkey and bacon with aged swiss and smoked provolone, dijonnaise, on marble-rye toast.

Geez, now I'm hungry.

Cheese.

The meat, easily.  You can have a sandwich without cheese, but you can't have a sandwich without meat.

I think a better question would be meat or bread

Meat, straight up (unless it's a grilled cheese).
