A creature with characteristics of both a human and an arachnid, most often a spider or scorpion.
A Poison/Dark type Pokemon and the evolved form of Skorupi.
Second generation Ground-Flying type Pokemon.
Fourth generation Ground-Flying type Pokemon created as an evolution for Gligar.
Bugs that are sapient beings and have humanoid and/or anthropomorphised features to varying degrees. This page includes Arachnids (Spiders, Scorpions) for brevity.
When the player/enemy leap towards the enemy/player, effectively dealing damage in the same turn.
Mythical Creature with the face of a man, the body of a lion, sometimes with wings and a tail that can shoot spikes. Other times it has a snake for a tail or a scorpions tail.
Some games feature protagonists that are not humanoid in nature. These are creatures that do not have human characteristics (i.e. stand on 2 legs, have 2 arms, a body and a head).
Simulating the effects of a great variety of poisons, toxins, venoms and nerve agents can lead to many unique and interesting mechanics. A classic trope in games, Poison usually deals small amounts of damage to health over time.
A species of large, mutated scorpions from the Fallout series. Radiation caused them to grow in size and increase the potency of their poison.
A Poison/Bug type Pokemon.
An eight legged arachnid. Some make webs to catch prey and some are poisonous. None have made a web grand enough to be called a parlor, though.
Using one's own tail as a weapon.
Tarantulas are described as "fuzzy" creatures for their small amount of fur/hair ,which causes itchiness from some of these spiders. Although they rarely attack people in most places, they will bite the person, iflicting painful liquids or venom, however most have been said that they inflict more itchiness than venom.
A cyclopean robot scorpion which shoots lasers. It only appears in the NES port of the first TMNT arcade game.
