In french, used games are called "jeux pré-joués", which litterally translates to "Pre-played games". So yeah, the "recycled games" is pure crap.

Dave is right. SW:ToR is a worse WoW (purely from a gameplay perspective). Which is annoying because I really liked KotoR 1 and even KotoR 2, and the class quest conversations are great. If anything, though, the non-class conversations are really just long, obnoxious quest log entries from WoW, but voiced.

WHAT!? Dominos pizza blows just blows no matter how many pizzas they give you for free when you buy one , Pizza Hut is the real pizza place, too bad they're almost extinct over here.

Little Ceasar's is awful. Don't know why people buy pizza there but then I remember the 5$ thing. Such awful pizza though, blech.

MMOs have to serve a lot of different playstyles. I'm having the opposite leveling experience of Jeff... For me, I am way overleveled for the several planets available to me. The only bonus series I've finished is Tattooine, and I agree, they are the content you should skip if you're doing more high-quality group content.

I do the 2+ heroics solo, I'm a healer so getting into groups for the 4+ and making them work out isn't that hard, and we do several flashpoints a day in my guild, plus pvp and space combat. Bonus series is for quest maniacs that aren't doing the other stuff.

I agree about a lot of the voice work and character stuff being throwaway. I've taken to having subtitles on, and space barring when I know the quality bar on a conversation is low.

Pizza Hut/Pappa J is the only choice, I tried LC when it first made a "come back" in my area, horrible as horrible gets.

It's funny how they were talking about getting around the world being hard in SWTOR, and then they all agree that 'WoW has the same issues'. Even though WoW has addressed that issue a long time ago and now the game automatically finds a group for you, teleports you all to the instance, and then at the end teleports you all back to exactly where you were in the world. And that's one of the many many things that WoW has fixed about MMO design, which SWTOR doesn't have.

Dave is right about it being a worse version of WoW. The rest of you guys are really misinformed about what WoW is these days, it might be worth going in to check it out for some PC gaming video feature.

I actually bought a recycled copy of LA Noire today, and was rather dumbfounded at seeing the "Go Green" stuff attached to the used stuff. Then I come home and what do I see as the podcast image, but a Recycled tag?

The K-Mart (I know) near my house has a Little Ceasar's inside of it. You can buy pizza by the slice there. It's $2.50 a slice. I'm not quite sure what the punch-line is here, but the joke should be self-evident.

Also Godfather's is the way to go for decent chain pizza places, like they mentioned Old Chicago is pretty good too.

Maybe its just because I was stabbing dudes in the back the whole time but I never really had trouble with enemies. Even when I got detected I could easily kill a polar bear or w.e. by just bashing it with my duel wielding.

Best part of this podcast was the Dominos Ad in the top right of my screen the whole time.

Hmmm so Brad regrets arguing against Batman now? So maybe as a new year's resolution for all involved, let's not argue for/against games we haven't played much of?

And yet I'm sure, come December we will once more hear someone having heated arguments about things they know very little about.

I don't know I like Jeff that is what brought me to this site when it first started but something about the way he has acted toward games the last half of last year was getting on my nerves.

I live in NY, so all of their pizza talk was just kind of nonsensical blabbering, basically. Still entertaining, though. :P

I really do not like Pizza Hut. The crust is always too buttery/ oily and it just falls to the bottom of my stomach like a boulder. I much prefer Dominoes. I cant even tell you why. I guess it just less painful. I will say Papa John's garlic butter is awesome on damn near any pizza. There have been times when I went to Papa John just for their garlic butter to put it on a better pizza.

I am totally surprised to hear this. Not to be a total suck-up or anything, but I haven't thought this a single time. For one, his opinions are often well explained and understandable. Secondly, he totally does, in fact, get excited about things:

• Terraria
• Skylanders
• Trackmania 2
• Saints Row 3
• Mortal Kombat 9

These are just a few from only last year. I would like a little more detail on perhaps what is bothering people about his attitude, because I can't say I have been bothered by it. I also can't say I agree with him a good part of the time, but his critiques usually bring some good incite to the table whether he like the game or not. Again, I am not really writing this as a defense of Jeff or his opinions per say, I am writing this more as a defense of my own opinions about Jeff's opinions. A little confusing, I know.

Jeff totally aced when it comes SW vs Star Trek...space british is TERRIBLE. The old Star Wars are passable but the new episodes and the Clone Wars cartoon is an accident waiting too happen. Hopefully someday George Lucas redeem themselves with the "live actions' series but that never happen any day soon.

Well in that case they shouldn't be making so many statements on something they know very little about. This was not the first nor will it be the last time that they talk about this game based on their 6-7 year old recollections of it, as opposed to actually taking a few minutes to look up some information.

Yeh you might think that but most people don't come to this site for game criticism (if such a thing even exists), but rather for the humour and shenanigans. And specifically Jeff's sense of humour and enthusiasm for talking about games without delving into the mind-numbingly awful review/preview crap of places like GS and so on.

Sorry it is not just you and it is not to say your not doing your job as you should nitpick about game and what not. It is just that the constant negativity in gaming lately that has been getting to me for awhile now.

It's near-impossible to be critical and sound positive. Criticism usually sounds worse than it is, especially nitpicking. However, the games industry is at a point when nitpicking is needed, because almost every game is at such a high level. We're actually pretty lucky if nitpicking is the worst negativity the critics have.

I don't get it aren't these guys like star wars fans? It's completely awesome on Tatooine and I can't freaking wait to get to Hoth. Just the other day I actually bullseyed a couple of Womp rats. WOMP RATS. I'm having so much fun exploring each planet and they do reward exploring. I'm enjoying the hell out of this game. To be honest I think it's the best game set in the star wars universe. It's endless. I never played Galaxies and I'm really sad about that now that it's gone.

Also Vinnie said "Blow guys off cliffs" during the Skyrim discussion. I burst out laughing in the office. That was much more funnier than it should have been.

IDK, maybe it's because there's a lot of Italian-Americans around where I'm from, so we know what real pizza is via excellent mom & pop pizza joints, but nobody I knows buys Domino's. Hell, they tried to open one in my neighborhood once, and it went out of business almost immediately. Things like Pizza Hut fare almost as badly. And thank the flying spaghetti monster for that! I don't know how you people survive, eating fuckin Domino's pizza. Blech.

Who wants that chain crap? It's as if McDonald's cost the exact same price, and took the same amount of time to get as a place that sells real burgers and such.

I feel ya @Jeff, I live in Petaluma as well and I miss that Domino's. Decently cheap pizza. Extreme pizza is okay if you have the buy one get one free coupon, even then that's still pretty pricey.
