I feel like the guys have been taking some inspiration from the Todd Glass Show and I must say i love it.

Really great show this week. So many wonderful tangents.

Oh crap it's Tuesday again. What happened to last week?

I put my iPod Nano (the one you can use as a watch; that you guys talk about) clipped to the collar of my shirt while I run. Clipping it to my sleeve bothers me mostly because of the wire, but you can just wrap the loose cord behind your neck, and even though it's pretty light the weight of it bobbing up and down gets annoying.

However, the thing broke on me thrice.Thrice. The first two times were because of the power button (the button that basically turns the screen on/off) broke, couldn't depress properly. The third, it was stricken by this odd "white screen of death" that I couldn't get out of.

I am currently on my fourth one, so thank God for warranties?

Damn, Ryan shut the Skyrim talk down before it even started.

This podcast is barely about videogames anymore........I LOVE IT

What an excellent episode. So much fascinating talk and some good insight into Reckoning. There's quite a bit to like about the demo but if the game is sort of like that and has all the weird little glitches I encountered on top of that I'll have to wait for discount and proper patches or pass entirely in this case. I agree with Jeff on the very nice setup though, the lore seems solid at the very least.

Also, that are some good choices for favorite X-Files episodes. Glad to see it's all "monster of the week" awesomeness and none of the stinking lore that has been driven straight into the fucking ground half-way through the series!

The discussion about jills ass had me laughing so hard.

Oh damn, all the X-files episodes are on Netflix instant streaming. I know how I'm going to waste time for the next month or so.

@Baal_Sagoth: I just want to say the demo is a much earlier build. They admit to the demo being very buggy and claim the full game has been fixed. I think it was a bad idea to release such a buggy demo.

I thought Jeff was underselling Reckoning a little bit, I guess that's for next week really. There are a lot of cool weapon combinations and juggling. Reminds me a tad of Bastion's weapon choices but less varied. Also the world seems exquisitely crafted, all i want to do is wander.

My God, that space slingshot bit was awesome.

Sneakers is a great film. It's called 'Trainers' in the UK.

@Death_Burnout: Yeah, you're right! I have heard that the demo had a weird little history behind it and that does inspire hope for Reckoning being the unique 'simpler TES/ darker and better version of Fable' RPG I'd very much love to play soon.

The devs seem genuinely creative, enthusiastic and pretty frank so I'm inclined to believe their stance on the demo but for now I'll remain somewhat sceptic. Even in case they did fuck up more than the demo, they'd most likely still say these things because who would talk trash about their own game. Especially after the troubled development history of that entire Kingdoms of Amalur project.

But even the demo shows that the game should kick plenty of ass when it works right.

This episode was pretty amazing. I'm not even finished listening to it and its already one of my favourites. Would have loved more Billion Dollar Movie talk but you can't have everything.

Although it's counterintuitive, it would actually take less energy to send our trash on a trajectory to eventually leave the solar system, like the Voyager probes, than it would take to send it into the sun.

It would actually take more energy to get to the sun than any other place in the solar system.

How is booty distraction affecting your workplace?

After my 360's disk drive went kaput I bought some stupidly expensive games-on-demand. Maybe the combination of that, drunk shoppers, and kids bilking their parents credit cards is what keeps the service profitable.

Ryan, you are not crazy on the Moogle thing, everyone else in the room with you was wrong. Moogles are cute, sassy, fast talking, tough-guy characters. They need to be voiced like a Squirtle.
