@patrickklepek: Man, that was a long leap of logic that you made regarding the PSP stuff Klepek. People have to pay money to digitize their old PSP games, ergo they will be driven to piracy? Pirates will find a way to pirate. They will either always find a reason to justify piracy, they could never have afforded the product in the first place, or the piracy itself is so easy to do that there's no way for a consumer to place enough value on the purchases to justify NOT pirating. While you could've made the point that this third case is what's the predominant drive to piracy, you instead made the argument that people will be driven to pirate by ethical reasons. The vast majority of pirates don't pirate because they don't agree with what Company X is doing as a corporation. People will pick and prod at Sony's security, and if they find holes in their system then the floodgates will open and the pirates will flow through. I think that your assertion that people will be championing piracy on ethical grounds to be severely flawed in a business sense. To be ethically driven to do something, the issue has to be extreme in the minds of consumers. While I agree with you that what Sony is doing is wrong, I think that it's absolutely ridiculous that you think it's wrong enough for consumers to be ethically driven from not pirating to pirating.

There used to be a Sizzler by the highschool here. It closed last year and I didn't notice for months.

Also, somehow Vinny owning not one, but two Ka-Bars doesn't surprise me. Then again, any Giant Bomb main crew member owning a lethal weapon doesn't surprise me. I imagine Jeff owning a handgun of some sort, Brad toting some kind of hunting rifle, and Ryan being a connoisseur of blunt objects.

I agree with you on Brad owning a hunting knife; he's from North Cackalaky and that would seem useful over there. And for the same reason I see him with a lever-action shotgun. Jeff with a handgun... yeah, I can see that, he did do that gangster video with the Choco Taco (blap, blap, blap) and were he to wield such a weapon it would probably be a nickel plated colt 45. Fitty Cent style. But to me, Jeff seems more like a brass knuckle guy, you know, the type to carry a black jack or an asp; not necessarily lethal but he'll mess you up some.

If any GB Crew has a gun, I would think it were Vinny; he's from Long Island so I imaging him with a snub nose 38. tucked surreptitiously in his ankle holster. Patrick just doesn't look very killer, but I'd say he'd go for a straight razor or a butterfly knife, just because it would confuse his assailant thus affording him valuable escape time.

But I must respectfully disagree with you about Ryan. Ryan is definitely a crossbow man; no doubt about it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a harpoon gun under his bed, it just seems so right for him.

Jeff: In regards to the different password policies between Star Wars: The Old Republic and other EA accounts, I have found an additional bug that they seem to refuse to acknowledge. On top of SWTOR requiring a capital letter while the others do not, I discovered that your SWTOR password cannot have symbols in it (which is in their password policy information), but what isn't mentioned is that the other EA passwords can. Now that they have linked all their systems to one password you can have an Origin password with symbols in it, which naturally logs you into Origin, and anything else EA, but not SWTOR, because of the symbols.

I put in a tech support ticket for this, just to see if somebody knew about this there. Over the course of about a month's time and three emails, I was first told to change my password to something that works and finally sent an email to make sure that I had been satisfied...which I promptly laughed and then deleted from my inbox.

One note about this experience is that this happened shortly after they sent out the emails about changing your passwords, so their system might still have been screwed and they have since sorted this mess. I doubt it though.

The only reason I know Sizzler exist is becuase of Office Space.

I can only see this as being a great thing if it were true, but given the time of the year, I don't think it is. If you really want a lot of game discussion, then you should re-listen (or listen for the first time) to the bombcasts from before Thanksgiving. I think there was a podcast from a few weeks back that I remember it being almost exactly 1/3 Skyrim discussion.

This weeks podcast was one of the best in a long time, I was laughing pretty much the entire way through.

I don't know if i can take another week of Saints Row the Third getting so much praise. I get why, they've not really given Saints Row as a series much attention before, so naturally this game is going to blow them away, but that game is not that great. It's very well produced 'n all, don't get me wrong, and when the missions are actual story missions it's amazing (there aren't that many though) but damn it's a disappointment to me.

Agree about Uncharted 3 with Patrick. U2 was better, U3 is frustrating at times.
