The graphics look a lot like ToV or Eternal Sonata. And Gunslinger face is the best thing i have ever seen.

why release this in fall though... cant compete with whats coming out in terms of fighting games.

Looks good, but right now I prefer Ultimate Ninja Storm; even if it is a Naruto game it's badass.

Thanks Jeff, I've been interested in this game for a while now but haven't seen much for gameplay videos. After seeing your demonstration and reading a few reviews I probably will pick it up.

I'm really liking these quick looks... honest, spontaneous impressions and unedited gameplay give me a pretty good idea of what it woulld be like if I had this game.  As for the game itself... looks pretty sweet.  I was a pretty avid player of Guilty Gear X2, and if the combat system in this game is as deep, then I'd totally be in... if I had a 360.  Oh well, it's nice to want things.

Hope you do more of these "quick look" vids. Been wondering about this game, and it was cool to see all of the characters in action.

Gotta say though, that was pretty mean when that girl spun you around and kissed you, and you replied with the Roadmaster. Cold, Jeff.

I was very close to picking this up the other day but it's being sold for 59.99 which is way too much money for this especially since Guilty Gear is coming out like next month sometime.

Cool game, wish it was coming to the PS3 too in North America.

Weird thing is that the game's Cedric looks like the Harry Potter IV Cedric Diggory.

Also, don't mess with Gunslinger Face!  That guy is a gunslinger! And I'm pretty sure his face is a gunslinger as well, with a FACE!

I think we all want to be called Gunslinger Face. The world would be a much better place, if we were.

Ive been playing this in the arcades abit. Kinda like the style tbh. I wouldnt buy it for consoles thou. (As youll be the only one playing it.)

I played the Japanese demo on my PS3, it's all right but nothing special.

Eh, I'm waiting for BlazBlue instead :)

I'm really glad you covered this game.  I seen screen shots here and there, and I'm a big fan of guilty gear.  I'm most likely going to check it out (if I can find it.)  Love the quick veiw videos.  It feels like how previews should be done.

The game seems interesting, I mean, the dudes gota  frickin chainsaw/scooter and there's a dude named Gunslinger Face. You can't beat that. With a stick.

my buddy and i inquired about this at the local Gamestop and the people working there just gave us a funny look and said they don't have it then tried to sell us on preorders for Fable 2

I wonder how long it'll take for "Gunslinger Face" to become an internet meme...

I actually have the game and it's not bad at all, the online play has zero button delay lag it feels like your playing offline. It has the old school Street Fighter feel with a small move list with some juggling, parrying and counter parry where you can knock them into a wall and follow that up with a combo.

And the D-pas works perfectly in this game, unlike other fighting games on the xbox, doing directional moves seem very easy to do in this game.

I'll wait for it to be cheap. $60 bones is Over-G Fighter territory for this game.  Does it have a level up system with XP and stats?  Does it have shop?

I'm still waiting for a game like Red Earth (or Red Earth for that matter) on a home console.

Game looks cool though. However I seriously doubt that it will ever come close to release here in Denmark. We only get the mainstreamest of the mainstream unfortunately :/

I played this in a Japanese arcade last year, it was on X2 so I expected it would come to 360. Graphically it looks great, the animation is certainly stunning. But, does it have the gameplay?, well the Japanese peeps in the arcades seemed to like it, but then it was only just released when I was out there.
