Who else by the end of Chrono Trigger had Brono making like 2 to 3 attacks while everybody was sitting on their hands?

Man, suddenly Ryan got competent at this game. This was one of the most entertaining episodes so far.

I was really really sad they didn't notice the Donkey Kong reference.

It's really nice to see how you guys have gotten the hang of the game. Gotta be honest, your apparent refusal to pay attention to what it was telling you kinda put me off for a while, there. But in the last episode when you suddenly broke off of what you were doing to go get Brog some magic, I knew it clicked. This Endurance Run has been eye-opening for me as well, since I didn't know how fucking boss Robo was. I always rolled with Frog and Ayla.

Bobo is really awesome, but I wish they'd roll with someone else, I just don't think the character is all that great. My rather have Barle around to crack wise.

This episode was pretty cool. Going through Magus' Castle was pretty fun with Ozzie and his damn traps!

It's been many many years since I played this, but weren't you supposed to kill all enemies in the castle? Could have sworn they just ran past and ignored one.

Well, I was kinda hard on them at first, but they are starting to figure this game out!

Also it makes me happy the seem to like what was my goto team in Chrono Trigger. Brono, Brog and Bobo. They are also very close to getting my favorite attack in the game. Spire! Such a bad-ass attack.

That last boss battle had me worried when everyone was so close to death and Ryan was all "Naw dawg, I don't need no stinking healing" but his brash actions paid off. I'm also happy he checked Brog's group heal because I was wondering what it would do myself.

Ran through this game nearly a month ago and I can confirm I didn't kill all of the monsters. Played the Wii VC port.

I remember thinking that naming the generals Ozzie, Flea, and Slash was coolest thing ever. *sigh* the 90's...

I've played the opening of Chrono Trigger, up to the part where Crono escapes from prison, like 10 times . . . But I don't remember ANY of this stuff after that part. Weird. Watching this I only have vague recollections of things. Don't they go to a city in the sky or something? There's a sweet ship too, right?

They figured out everything except for how awesome Triple Raid is. Gotta always love that moment where everything starts to click though. It's a pretty good feeling. And tomorrow, we get the Magus fight. Great battle with great music. Should be a good one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that extra animation on Bobo's punches from the Doom Finger?

Yeah, Ryan is really feeling it right now. This is were the game takes off for real. Great episode. And tomorrow's EP is gonna be great. The buildup to the boss battle is as epic as it gets in games from this era. Just an awesome presentation, from graphics to music.

Well, duh. This a SNES JRPG, of course it has a sweet airship.

And without having watched the video, as long as Brog has the Masamune and Hero Medal equipped you're way better off using his normal attack than Slurp Cut (as in the last video) because he'll crit pretty much every other attack for double damage.
